I have a LOQ 2023 (7840HS+RTX4060). I use it in conservation mode, which limits charge to 80% to prolong battery health. After a 2 hour gaming session the battery drained to 65%. I also saw minor frame drops here and there, which I think is harmful. What do you suggest?

@@souvikbiswas9659 Actually the issue was my cooling pad. It was not really lowering temps, and it was also drawing power. After removing the cooling pad, it seems to be fixed. But your solution would have worked as well, I think.

The motherboard issue only happen on intel 13th gen and 14th gen, the AMD and Intel 12th gen model Will be fine

@@Sukhdeepblimparmy 67k price with hdfc credit card i got that at 2800 Rupess off ,And it performs like a beast but the battery consumes more and dont expect much battery backup from it coz its a gaming laptop and you should charge while playing and you should place that laptop in a way that it can release its heat like placing 2 books under the laptop at the edges at both sides and iam happy with this laptop ,And remember dont go for i13 or i14 there are some motherboard ,Go for i5 12 gen

While playing games on charging the 230watt adapter is not able to provide sufficient power to both cpu and gpu. Because i7 14700hx is power hungry cpu it consumes around 90w while gaming and gpu around 100w. Screen and other components are also there. That's why the battery is draining. I use acer Nitro 5 with rtx 3070ti from one year it has 280w adapter and 3070ti runs on 150-160w unlike 4060. Lenovo should provide atleast 280w+ adapter. Or they should downgrade the cpu
Ohh I explained this in Full please check that once.....Its more of power optimization & LA1 chip which is working here..
@@workwithstyle No sir LA1 AI chip is just for optimising gpu and cpu. Battery drain is different issue. It's only because of 230w adapter cannot give enough power to the laptop while gaming or mix work load. That's why battery drains to compensate that.
You can check manufacturers like Asus, Acer and hp are giving 280w adapters for same configuration laptops. Please don't recommend a product which has lot of flaws and problems to the consumers. They invest their hard earned money on this 1lakh plus junks to regret.

For video editing I won't be able to tell but for blender any Rtx GPU (30 or 40 series) having 6 gb + vram is fine and will have adequate viewport as well as render performance in Rtx renderer. For CPU prioritise having a newer gen CPU ( doesn't matter i5 or i7 ) since it will give very good viewport performance and physics/cloth simulations.( Prefers single core performance)

@@svgstark3742 mere hisab se na 4050 le lo. I know most people don't like frame gen but let's be honest dlss frame gen superior hae. And ye cards honestly batau to 1080p medium type ke cards hae. So by buying a 4050 you will slightly increase the life span of your card. Tum jyada din khel paoge games ko with 60 fps kyuki you will have access to both dlss and FSR frame gen. Plus iska RT cores are newer, so Nvidia Optix waegera mae faster hoga(if using blender).
And regarding the CPU i5 12 th gen 4050 is a more evenly matched config compared to i5 13 th 3050. Since in the second one the GPU will remain a bottleneck ( CPU most of the time less utilize hoga).

I bought a Loq 15irh8 20 days ago and it was working normally. However, for the past 3 days, the battery level has been decreasing even when it's plugged and showing that it's charging. It doesn't reach 100% even when I leave it plugged in overnight. I've disabled all the charging modes in Lenovo Vantage, but the battery keeps draining even when charging. The laptop is working normally and I have all the drivers updated, including the BIOS. Should I be concerned and activate the warranty?
This may be a silly concern of mine, bc i m a newbie in gamer notebook and hardware and software, but i thought it best to research and talk to other people before activating my notebook's warranty.

Bro it uses watts for monitor,speaker and keyboard blacklight and also 115 watts for rtx 4050 only, processor takes more power . So in conclusion it uses more watts than the charger they provided!!!!!
@@valkx6204 the graphics tgp is 90 w which u have mistaken with tdp ,the power consumed by 7840 hs is 54 watt at max and 90w for rtx 4050 but still they have cutdown working limit of both combined to 115 w tdp, screen take max 11w,others 3w
so it will be a max of 140w not more than that and i didnt face any battery drops instead it increased,games tested was last of us ,re4

I have a doubt. If the screen refresh rate is limited to 144hz, then does it even matter whether the laptop can perform over 144hz or not as shown in some RUclips videos?
Getting more fps than the screen refresh rate is not as useful. But if you try hard enough, you can feel the difference in responsiveness. As a casual gamer, 144fps and 300fps will feel the same on a 144Hz display.

Mostly I am using code editor, 2 browser with 5-7 tabs and other small apps, running all simultaneously .
My battery drawing 1% every minute l, it goes 100 to 0 in just 100 minutes.

Not in Lenevo in 14th gen all laptops it is a big problem. I recently bought hp omen i7 14700hx with rtx 4060......It has same issues......But performance is top notch........Significant heating issues found like cpu temp 92 degree after 1 hrs hardcore gaming although the weather temp is 40 degree++ in kolkata.
why is it like this though? some software issue or its issue with processor?
also, for the temperature issue in your laptop. i would recommend you buy a good cooling pad. (archer lab squall 300 is a good one)

Sir, mere pass Lenovo loq 13450HX with RTX 3050 hai maine ye 1 month phle liya tha maine isme phle light gaming ki thi jab isme koi battery drain nahi hui thi while charging but ab mai iske andar nfs heat khel rha tha continuously 2-3 hr iski battery drain hokr 85% tak jaa rahi thi while charging khelte vakt maine iski fan speed full rkhi thi aur iski processor bhi dgpu par tha. Sir ab aage mujhe kya karna chahiye?

Bhai inke customer care par call krle aur apna issue bta uske baad ye 230watt ki charging brick de denge agar koi genuine issue hua toh but firstly make sure ki tera device fully updated ho.

It's normal to lag on Battery because a battery is not sufficient , but if it still lags in Charging it might be a issue

Lenovo vantage application k andar settings hei battery protection wala jis se charging limit hogi 80% tak. Jin logo ka charger mostly laga hota hei unko hamesha 100% nahi rakhna chahiye. So us settings ko On rakhna chahiye. Han 10-15 din me ek baar 100% se 10% ka cycle karna chahiye better hota hei.
