I didn't know metronomes were so inexpensive now! When I was a kid, they were hundreds of dollars! I clicked on this video to show my daughter what a metronome was, so I could explain why I've always wanted one but never set aside the money to get one as I just thought of it as a frivolous expense AND THEN I SEE THIS!! They are so reasonable now! I'm so excited! Thank you for this!

It is not advisable to store the metronome with the spring wound up. It is bad for the spring. It is stated in the instruction for the Seiko SPM400 and SPM320.

I got one for my man who plays electric guitar. He always uses the computer's electeonic metronome. He likes this thing. He never thought to get one, and I love that it's all mechanical. I'll be using it for meditation :)
