Glad for him!! My wife and I been without a car now after loosing our unfixable 2001 Grand Marquis! I'm 51 no and having all kinds of developing long term health problems. Yes, I still have a valid Florida Drivers license, and can drive just fine. We just haven't had a car now or anything to drive in almost 2 years. Which seems like forever when I was so used to driving all the time to wherever I wanted and going out with my wife on the weekends! I We miss all that so much!! all she does now is stay home and work her ass off 10 to 12 hours every day. She is so tired and I am so bored on SSA it kind of sucks! It gets very, very depressing. We just can't afford trying to get even the cheapest of cars right now! With Inflation up, and everything costing so much, and the cost of 20 Uber trips to stores now, and when she has to go into the Tampa office to work some days! Can cost almost $30 each way there and back! Everything it's just ridiculous!!

I so love this. My husband was a Corvette guy and we had been together since 1969. Every time he passed a Vette, he'd have to check it out. Every year when the new ones came out, we were at the showrooms. We married, had kids, put them through college, and he worked every day in a steel mill. Then about 2 years before he retired I told him it was time to get his car. A brand new 02 Z06 that came sight unseen from a dealership in Manhattan, on a rollback truck, delivered right to our house. He didn't stop smiling for years. It's a wonderful feeling when you can watch the person you love most in the world, get the one thing they always dreamed of. He bought one more new Corvette in 2013, and just recently passed away. But we had years of memories together. I pray you and your father have many years of making memories with his dream car too. God bless.
