Ok I said something a while back about the butt stock on the lr then you guys came out with lr-x and mr-x (awesome) now you need to on the pr (pr-x) and all three needs to come out in .40 cal. Yes there is a lot of states you can’t use the.40 during the muzzleloader season there is nothing saying you can’t during the the regular season. If your like me I love the challenge and making the first shot count idea I still use a muzzleloader. I bought the mr last muzzleloader season and loved it took a nice doe the in reg season a nice 7 point. I want a .40 cal after seeing the htr but in a accura pr-x or if I have to lr-x
Got a question that so far no one has known or answered so here goes. On Triple 7 pellets 50gr there is a lighter and darker end to it. I was told that it makes a difference firing. Don't know for sure, just hoping to find out.
@@brandon22333 Hey thanks for the reply but I finally got a email back from Hodgdon and they say it doesn't matter either end is good, there's no difference on theirs.
@@brandon22333 hey went back and read the email from Hodgdon again. I was correct on Triple 7. They said that Pyrodex pellets has a igniter end which is the beveled end. Triple 7 does not.
Sorry for a dumb question. I have a CVA Acura NWL, my question is since the palm savior treads on to the jag am I to assume that we are supposed to push the round with the non jag end?? Thanks for any help with this question.
Jason question time, I bought in I think 2018, a Accura V2 PR 50cal. I use Triple 7 pellets and was wondering what the best primer I should use? Or are there much difference in the difference brands of primers. Thanks
Hello CVA! I know it's not in this video but a couple questions. Can all of the Accura .50 cals take 120gr 209 and shoot the 330gr ELR. Specifically, I have a MR-X 50 coming tomorrow! Also, it can accept the Variflame kit in the stock 209 breech plug correct?
Just ordered a MR-X in 45 cal. Can’t wait for it to get here !

That is correct. You can use the open ended side to load with.
How often do you have to clean one of these rifles? Like every couple or shots or after a day of shooting?
After a day of shooting.
Great video I would like it if you did northwest legal guns, thanks.

Will a 50mm objective fit on this rig?
If you use high rings, it will clear a 50mm scope.
Yes I have a Leupold vx6 3-18x50 on mine.
Fits perfectly with medium rings.
What breech plug type the gun comes with?
The standard QRBP And the Blackhorn QRBP are included.

I have the cva accura v2. Can't get consistent groups. An you help me with a load and bullets have the qrb and the Black horn plug
use two pellets or loose powder
Any plans for a 40 caliber acura ?
this is unbelievably complicated, and the powder is corrosive.
Skill issue
After separating the barrel from the stock, you'll have to re-zero the gun.
i dont believe thats true.
You won't have to re-zero all the sight mechanisms are directly attached to the barrel so your actual zero won't shift.
That's not how that works 😂
