You are forgetting 1 primary thing; As powerful as Thanos truly is, Thanos has LOST fights to God's. Kratos is A GOD KILLER!!!. Thanos defeated Hulk on 2 occasions; Professor Hulk who is only 50% As Strong , and during Infinity War when he possessed the Gauntlet which gave him the power of THE GOD HIMSELF!! Nobody can stand up to that ....NOBODY. ODIN ( A GOD) although with effort BEAT UP Thanos, as did Galactus. You are leaving out ALOT OF DETAILING from the stories that Comic readers don't know. love this channel because I love Comics over 50 years, BUT you Over estimate ALOT of characters, as well as Nerf alot along with omitting important details.

Any single story line character is always going to loose when they go up against the comic book version of a character, theres just to vast a well of stories and feats to draw from, the characters become exceptionally overpowered. However if you had to put Kratos up against MCU Thanos then I think we can all agree Kratos is dominating, i mean if Iron Man got Thanos to bleed in Infinity war and MCU version of Thor threw Stormbreaker into his Chest then Kratos is gonna have a lot of fun!!
That would be like comparing Goku to an afterschool Powerpuff Girls version of himself. Might as well change his name. That is NOT the same character.
@@MrZ_la Ofcourse it would because none of the MCU heroes come close to their comic book counterparts they, like Kratos have that one storyline effect, in fact the same can be said for Goku which is why he always loses to comic book version Superman... theres thousands of different storylines where the characters have just performed the most insane feats likely because the writers always want to one up each other in some way, shape or form

The blades of chaos would do a lot more than just launch thanos off the planet. Kratos used the blades to destroy the weapon of the gatekeeper in hell, meaning he destroyed hells source of power as stated by mimir.
Disagree fully with this video, mainly because Thanos' strength and power is always changing based on the story but Kratos has never been weak and is always stronger. Best examples, Thanos was straight ripped by God emperor Doom and I don't see that happening to kratos

@@bigbowss9817 no, literally you are proving how much you don't know the characters, hulk is way above thanos in the comics, tell me a single time when thanos fought against the savage hulk or the green scar hulk while hulk was truly mad because it never happened, in infinity gauntlet thanos was easily able to defeat professor hulk (i repeat PROFESSOR hulk) using the INFINITY GAUNTLET, in an other occasion hulk and thanos fought "mentally" and they got even interrupted, in an other fight (without a mad hulk) thanos just punched hulk away and ordered to proxima midnight and corvus glaive to fight the hulk, in that battle between them and the avengers literally thanos was waiting the right moment to attack letting to the black order to do the most of the job with the avengers so even this fight isn't a good example, in another occasion thanos easily defeated hulk but it was about plot armour because hulk got defeated with a laser beam that not even injured him and we all know that it's just about bad writing, recently they fought again and hulk won (hulk wasn't even mad, it was just a pretty normal fight to him but not for thanos) literally thanos tried to avoid the fight with hulk in a first moment, when he couldn't avoid the fight he tried to use the mind stone on hulk but hulk was too fast for him, hulk wasn't truly that much angry and they was fighting pretty equally, at some point thanos tried to use the cosmic powers but using the cosmic powers he wasn't able to injury hulk even a little and after that he snapped hulk's neck thinking that it was enough to defeat the hulk but he was wrong and hulk punched him on the back taking him down 🤷🏻♂️ al Ewing himself stated that hulk is the most limitless character in marvel comics and hulk is literally the fractured son of the one above all/the one below all, thanos is nothing compared to hulk and it's just a fact. However kratos is pretty close to the level of hulk and without a single doubt kratos is way more powerful than thanos

I would say that because the primordials created… well everything. And Kratos killed several of them is insane. For example Kratos killed death. Then saying he is a strong as Thor is a bad down play. You also talked about how absurdly strong Odin is, but didn’t bring up that Kratos beat Odin in his universe. Why would you say Thor from GOW is equal to Thor in marvel but not that the Odin’s are comparable. Kratos crawled out of hell literally brought him self back to life from sheer will basically. Not to mention the speed… I don’t know how fast thanos is, but kratos caught up to the god of speed while he was using his flying speed shoes, and Kratos out ran him and then cut off his legs… killed posiden in the water… but let’s backtrack to earlier when we said he killed multiple primordials, including death… if we are talking killing the one who holds up a concept this would put Kratos in some ballpark of mobius chair Wally West… do you think this Wally that is also stated to have surpassed death itself would lose to this version of Thanos? I feel like Kratos could definitely win tho because Dan Co severely under played the fact that Thor SPLINTERED THE WORLD TREE(WHICH IS INFINITE just like the sky which Kratos held up in cannon) which is infinite in a fight against big snake boy and Thor gets beaten to hell by Kratos and then the guy who knocked out this same serpent in 3 punches gets dummied by Kratos and Thanos is the guy who has lower durability scaling than the weapons Kratos uses also the Kratos has better speed feats because infinity stones only have implied power compared to confirmed infinite speed strength and durability that Kratos has because 616 Thanos doesn't have the power of stones from an infinite universe he has stones from an incredibly large universe (yes incredibly angry long comment yes writen late at night yes im ashamed yes my punctuation sucks)

The main logic is that Thanos beat Thor. Kratos also beat Thor. They both beat him multiple times and pretty easily at that. I think there is no end to Kratos’s strength, it adapts to however much he needs in a limitless way. Plus he’s died and came back multiple times. Therefore I don’t think lose to Thanos. Even if Thanos got the better of Kratos, Kratos would come back for more. And in fact Thanos has been defeated multiple times, Kratos has never failed. Kratos all day

Long Story Short: Kratos beat mostly extremely strong local earth foes & some lower level cosmic / international foes, but Thanos beat many cosmic / international foes & is a force among cosmic / international beings.

Its been stated that Kratos can output as much strength as he needs for the task at hand, with the literal power of “hope” inside him, in other words he has infinite strength so yeah maybe his weapons wouldnt work on Thanos but to say Thanos could tussle with him hand to hand? LMFAOOO no buddy.

The primordial flame would be hot enough to burn Thanos.
And even if the blades weren't sharp enough to cut him, Kratos could still swing them with enough force to do damage.

When Kratos’ lore scales him as universal-multiversal, and Thanos base is just under Skyfather level (like solar system to galaxy level) , I’m not sure why I’m seeing the reverse logic.
Thanos could *outsmart* Kratos definitely, but on a head on fight, base Thanos isn’t gonna win. And Thanos doesn’t play that game, especially with heroes such as Hulk (because Thanos knows Hulk would eventually stomp him).
If this takes place in the Marvel Universe, then Thanos wins. Neg.

Depends, if it was Gow 3 kratos, then comic thanos would lose without the Gaunlet, if it was Norse kratos with less of his weapons and the magic of the gods then he lose.

Also, kratos doesn’t have power of hope anymore, he only just have the hope that every living being has deep inside of them, that’s why Tyr said “no matter box or no box Hope, Fear, Love, and Hate still live inside every living being”
As close as I think it would be, Kratos is conditionally immortal, as long as he’s wearing he’s families ashes he can’t die as part of his curse (they can’t be removed but have faded slightly from gow3 to 2018). Plus the blades of chaos alone would do some damage to thanos which also as part of his curse, he can’t lose them

Yeah I have to agree that comic book Thanos is light years ahead of Kratos- yeah they're both physically powerful adversaries, but you can't beat Thanos with raw strength. He's got rediculous powers, nearly indestructable, has technology to rival Galactus, and he regularly dog walks guys that Kratos would either struggle to defeat or downright lose too. Kratos has a great story and all, but that doesn't mean he can defeat someone that smokes guys of his caliber with a smile and a casual 1,2 punch. If Thanos (with all his powers and stuff from the 616 universe) were to portal over to Kratos's universe, he would walk through his epic quest swatting away gods like flies.
It’s a very obvious answer as to who would win, the winner will always be whoever the writer wants to win.
You forget that Kratos is cursed to live and even if he die by hands of Thanos he will rise again very probably stronger and that Kratos' strength isn't static, he's as strong as he needs to be in given situation it scales to the feat he needs to achieve while Thanos' undying curse was lifted and his strength is pretty much set at one level

yeah Thanos did tank a blast from Odin, but in that same comic Odin tanked blasts from both Thanos and the Silver Surfer and later in that fight after Odin decided to fight seriously, while Thanos refused to surrender, he was pretty messed up while Odin didnt have a mark on him.

If you remember in canon Marvel comics Wolverine can stab Thanos regardless of his durability. Or in Avengers Endgame when Thor doesn’t go for the head but still grievously wounded Thanos.
Don't forget for durability-wise Thanos fighting Odin in Asgard when Odin had Gungir and the resulting fight nearly obliterating Asgard. And at the end of it Thanos just got up without being injured and just annoyed. And Odin cutting loose is a multi-galaxy buster.

Kratos easily stomps, Atlas was holding up infinite reality of Hades's firmament which was so large as to have it's own distant stars and galaxies, and was overpowered by kratos that was re-mortalized and lost his godly power in GoW 2, and then in GoW Ragnarok he overpowered bloodlusted Thor that wasn't holding up while Kratos was, and that was a Thor who was stated to easily shatter the Yggdrasil, that formed a infinite multiverse of different realities with a single blow while fighting Jörmungandr. This whole conclusion is ass as marvel's thor is nowhere near close to GoW Thor. Thanos is fodder to Kratos even without the power of hope, that he still has a fragment of after GoW 3 within his soul, and so even if thanos had the infinity gauntlet and went all out current Kratos that doesn't hold back either would literally erase him as a concept. Kratos wins no diff

“The blades of chaos won’t work cuz he’s to tuff” we’ve never seen the blades not work (I mean not pierce something when kratos uses them) there’s no evidence to say that thanos could resist them as nothing has, and I’d say it can definitely be argued he can land at least a few hits since he wiped Heimdall after some time 😂 not only that kratos literally can’t die if he’s doesn’t want to. We’ve seen him come back on his own multiple times, and it’s implied with his line “death can have me when it has earned me” im not saying it’s an easy fight but I think kratos has a better chance then what your making it out to be
I disagree with this one Kratos can't die every time he has he just comes back he could stop a guy that can hold infinaty from squishing him and has even killed death death cannot die but kratos killed him anyway Thanos can still die which in a fight to the death is kind of a weakness the fight will take a while but Kratos will win eventually

Kratos has also lifted the 9 realms. He flipped them! He’s infinitely strong. He only uses the necessary amount of power to beat whoever he faces.

He did say Diana beats GoW 4 Kratos back in 2018. However he also said Shazam beats GoW 4 Kratos in a 2019 video, but then after GoW 5, he changed his mind and said Kratos beats Shazam in a recent video.
Now DanCo does say Wonder Woman > Shazam, so since GoW 5 changed his mind on Shazam vs Kratos, I’d be interested to see whether or not it’s changed his opinion on Wonder Woman vs Kratos

You're overexaggerating Kratos' feats. When the developers were asked how the mythologies exist all at once in the world of God of War, they explained that each mythology's gods' universe is within the dominion they control. This isn't the actual universe or the world. So, when Kratos destroyed the "world" in God of War 3, he didn't actually destroy the world; he destroyed the Greek world. Even when you play the game God of War, Atreus spoke of such myths, like the world serpent circling the whole planet. Kratos told him that it was just an exaggeration. Or in Ragnarök, when speaking about destiny, it was explained that Kratos was just easily predictable. There was no actual power to see the future like what was told in the myths. Since the myths are explained as overexaggerations, you can't really use those exaggerations as feats. The Midgard Chronicler made a video explaining just this.
