Homelander’s lazers wouldn’t even knock down Thanos if he was alert. Thanos stood up to Iron Man’s beams amped by Thor’s lightning. Soldier Boy is able to stand up to lazers. Maeve is too. Thanos is much stronger than them. The only reason Thanos got knocked down in that clip you showed is because Thanos was weakened by then. Plus, the Iron Lady repulsors are more powerful than Homelander’s lazers since the repulsors defeated leviathan. She was helped by 2 other characters when they shot at Thanos who was focused on the gauntlet.

Okay, so there are versions of Hulk that could take out Thanos, but the normal version of Hulk that we see in the MCU, he's pretty darn powerful and Thanos takes him out without the help of his subordinates or his army with ease. He didn't even break much of a sweat taking the Hulk out in under a minute. In fact, I think it was under 30 seconds that he took the Hulk out in the MCU. Now even though he's one of the weaker versions of Hulk that we've seen, still pretty darn powerful. It took one punch to take out one of the giant alien worm things that we see flying around in the first Avengers movie and that's the same version of Hulk that got taken out in under 30 seconds by Thanos in the MCU. That's just insane to me. Now that version of Hulk in the MCU is able to take out Homelander most definitely. 9.9 times out of 10 take out Homelander. Now if Thanos beat that Hulk, I don't see Homelander putting up much of a fight against Thanos, let alone Thanos's entire army with or without Thanos included with the army. 1v1 Thanos wins the entire army going up against Homelander. I just see that Thanos army winning 9.9 times out of 10 and then a hundred percent of the time taking out Homelander with Thanos with the army or without the army taking out Homelander. Thanos is just way too powerful with and without the Infinity Stones for Homelander.

Thanos has done far more evil, which doesn't mean he's morally any worse. I find reasonable to believe your average dictator isn't as morally unsound as a serial killer, even though the latter's negative impact on the world pales in comparison with the former's. It's not goodness that stops the killer from perfoming the evil acts of the dictator; it's generally a lack of power and ambition. The same goes for Homelander: he didn't refrain from killing half of the universe's population because he's a nice guy, he simply lacks both the oportunity and the belief on its necessity (which may be morally neutral; unless you hold Thanos has failed to consider the necessity of his actions hard enough, because he most likely could've come with a better solution to the problems he saw; even so, I don't put this overlook of one's moral burden to think serious acts through past Homelander). Thanos, on the other hand, would not be evil enough to do much of what Homelander did for the reasons he did, only for nobler reasons (which wouldn't shoulder him from all reproach). He's not the kind of guy to r4p3 someone because he feels like it, but he would absolutely do it "for a greater good".
Homelander is amazingly strong in The Boys but comparing him to well known super powered heroes and villains is gonna leave him wanting. The list of people that could fight Thanos 1 on 1 is very short. Fighting him and beating him are 2 very different things. If Homelander kept his distance for as long as he could he might be able to get a few hits in with his heat vision but it only takes Thanos one throw or Homelander to try and get up close and personal for things to go very badly for Homelander. Thanos beat the shit out of Hulk and Hulk would stomp out Homelander.
Id like to argue that Thanos didn’t beat Hulk with his strength, but with his superior fighting technique. In Thor Ragnarok, Thor was able to do the same thing. Its still not as good as Thanos'. Not saying he's not crazy strong but he's got a lot more going for him than that

He moves too fast for Thanos to even react.
Homelander’s lazers wouldn’t even knock down Thanos if he was alert. Thanos stood up to Iron Man’s beams amped by Thor’s lightning. Soldier Boy is able to stand up to lazers. Maeve is too. Thanos is much stronger than them. The only reason Thanos got knocked down in that clip you showed is because Thanos was weakened by then. Plus, the Iron Lady repulsors are more powerful than Homelander’s lazers since the repulsors defeated leviathan. She was helped by 2 other characters when they shot at Thanos who was focused on the gauntlet.
I actually think Homelander's stats are nearly as high as Thanos, he's just a really crap fighter. Thanos would dominate him for only this reason.

Homelander is a perfect example of a big fish in a small pond. Thanos is a bigger fish in an entire ocean.
Okay, so there are versions of Hulk that could take out Thanos, but the normal version of Hulk that we see in the MCU, he's pretty darn powerful and Thanos takes him out without the help of his subordinates or his army with ease. He didn't even break much of a sweat taking the Hulk out in under a minute. In fact, I think it was under 30 seconds that he took the Hulk out in the MCU. Now even though he's one of the weaker versions of Hulk that we've seen, still pretty darn powerful. It took one punch to take out one of the giant alien worm things that we see flying around in the first Avengers movie and that's the same version of Hulk that got taken out in under 30 seconds by Thanos in the MCU. That's just insane to me. Now that version of Hulk in the MCU is able to take out Homelander most definitely. 9.9 times out of 10 take out Homelander. Now if Thanos beat that Hulk, I don't see Homelander putting up much of a fight against Thanos, let alone Thanos's entire army with or without Thanos included with the army. 1v1 Thanos wins the entire army going up against Homelander. I just see that Thanos army winning 9.9 times out of 10 and then a hundred percent of the time taking out Homelander with Thanos with the army or without the army taking out Homelander. Thanos is just way too powerful with and without the Infinity Stones for Homelander.

Thanos has done far more evil, which doesn't mean he's morally any worse. I find reasonable to believe your average dictator isn't as morally unsound as a serial killer, even though the latter's negative impact on the world pales in comparison with the former's. It's not goodness that stops the killer from perfoming the evil acts of the dictator; it's generally a lack of power and ambition. The same goes for Homelander: he didn't refrain from killing half of the universe's population because he's a nice guy, he simply lacks both the oportunity and the belief on its necessity (which may be morally neutral; unless you hold Thanos has failed to consider the necessity of his actions hard enough, because he most likely could've come with a better solution to the problems he saw; even so, I don't put this overlook of one's moral burden to think serious acts through past Homelander). Thanos, on the other hand, would not be evil enough to do much of what Homelander did for the reasons he did, only for nobler reasons (which wouldn't shoulder him from all reproach). He's not the kind of guy to r4p3 someone because he feels like it, but he would absolutely do it "for a greater good".

The list of people that could fight Thanos 1 on 1 is very short. Fighting him and beating him are 2 very different things. If Homelander kept his distance for as long as he could he might be able to get a few hits in with his heat vision but it only takes Thanos one throw or Homelander to try and get up close and personal for things to go very badly for Homelander.
