I'm American, what do you find weird about the dish and what's a normal Canadian dish? I never thought they'd eat different foods because we're so close, I also don't mean this in a rude way whatsoever
@ProfessionalRUclipsWatcher I was brought up in a Scottish/ German household in the country. We grew up on root vegetables and peas, green & yellow beans, corn. I never knew about rice or pasta until a teenager in the early eighties. When we have Thanksgiving, we eat mixed vegetables, turkey, potato salad, macaroni salad, mixed fermented vegetables, cheese, i have never tried any of those casseroles you eat. We never ate sweet potatoes. For dessert, it was apple, cherry, pumpkin, and strawberry rhubarb pies. I would make cheesecake. We had plum pudding that my mom took weeks to make at Christmas. We also had jello with mixed canned fruit.
Americans eat so much differently than Canadians.
