For years I’ve struggled with bodyweight, even though I’m considered very healthy, I’ve come across many body positivity posts talking about to “love yourself” and be “thankful to the food you eat” and while that may work for some people… in my opinion, seeing their petite skinny beautiful bodies always made me feel worse. But coming across this video made a big smile spread across my face. It makes me want to eat… not out of boredom, or to stay alive. But to be healthy. Thank you, regardless if you see this or not - you helped atleast one person.
we should love our bodies for the function they have and sustaining it is one of those things we can do back! however i think body positivty in my opinion is a double flip coin. as a former overweight and unathletic kid the whole 'love yourself' message can actually cloud you of whether your body or eating habits are unhealthy. For instance, a lot of obese people tend to excuse their poor habits of eating and lack of exercise for just loving yourself as you are. Some people hide their insecurities of not having a fit bod or skinny bodies and can get bitter seeing other fitter bodies. I think by overall giving your body healthy food and exercise is great! however by some good limits and self awareness, giving yourself a day of free eating and not generally being too restrictive is another way of loving that body truly. your nurturing it instead of it letting it fall into chaos like some people do and then feeling bitter. It's a balance tbh, you have to remember that there's intense and hard training that goes into some people building an image. Comparison can be a disease if you don't do it in moderation. Follow your own comparison, build a fitter state of your body by a logical understanding and co-ordination of your body.
@@aminahh_ You shouldn’t hate yourself because you have unhealthy eating habits. The whole point of body positivity (the point y’all keep missing somehow) is to LOVE YOUR BODY NO MATTER HOW IT LOOKS because you can change it AS MUCH AS YOU WANT BUT IT WILL STILL BE *YOUR BODY* You should lose weight or gain it (which is what I’m attempting to do) because you LOVE YOURSELF enough that you feel like you DESERVE to be happy. I’m gaining weight because I feel like I deserve to be a healthy weight after living a life of being a fucking skeleton, pale and nothing but bones. That bowl of cereal alone has more sugar than is the daily recommended intake for an ADULT. And she claims to have had the whole box? Plus the Oreos and the jam and the sugar hidden in the smiley fries and corn batter and whatever else. This is the diet you eat if you want to die prematurely
No one is talking how all this was mostly junk food? I get it we all ate junk food when we were a kid and lots of it too. But this is just ridiculous, what the hell is breakfast desert? That’s un healthy… also many of the foods she is mentioning is box and package food. Seems like she had no parents to watch over her which made her younger self overweight.
i think it’s child abuse to allow your kid to eat like this every day. i was a fat kid and it was entirely my moms fault for allowing me to binge eat. i had to battle it my entire life until i finally lost and kept off the weight.
Um. How is it child abuse exactly? If that's all you could afford and eat, is that called child abuse? what I'm saying is an example, but none of this is child abuse.

LMAO
Why does everyone in the comments thinks its normal that she only had industrial junk food throughout her childhood.... What about some real food....
THE PIC OF YOU AS A CJILD WAS SOOOO ADORABLE 🥰
Its comfort food surely but also there is sugar in every meal and snack which is so scary to think that children get addicted already at a young age
It was such a positive video until I saw this💀😭
That bowl of cereal alone has more sugar than is the daily recommended intake for an ADULT. And she claims to have had the whole box? Plus the Oreos and the jam and the sugar hidden in the smiley fries and corn batter and whatever else. This is the diet you eat if you want to die prematurely
Y’all ate breakfast?
lmao
I LOVE THE PARENT TRAPPP OMGGG
No one is talking how all this was mostly junk food? I get it we all ate junk food when we were a kid and lots of it too. But this is just ridiculous, what the hell is breakfast desert? That’s un healthy… also many of the foods she is mentioning is box and package food. Seems like she had no parents to watch over her which made her younger self overweight.
i would just be drinking chocolate milk and eating tomatoes all day as a child, i don’t know why my parents let me lmao
i hated tomatoes but i loved sucking their souls out. theee juicy shit in the middle i mean
how do you remeber I don’t remember anything before I was 13..
@@iida12333 those are basically the 2 things i remember liking
You were the cutest little kid EVER!!
i think it’s child abuse to allow your kid to eat like this every day. i was a fat kid and it was entirely my moms fault for allowing me to binge eat. i had to battle it my entire life until i finally lost and kept off the weight.
Um. How is it child abuse exactly? If that's all you could afford and eat, is that called child abuse? what I'm saying is an example, but none of this is child abuse.
It is your mom fault, but it's also yours.
@@Picks18 Absolutely not. Parents should instill healthy eating habits in their children. I empathize with S B. I didn't understand my eating habits were unhealthy until I was like 14.
@@LordPepe-jh5dt Then honey that's you're fault. Don't go around blaming people. If you had barely enough money, the last thing you would worry about is getting healthy.
@@Picks18 It's a child's fault for not realizing that what their parents taught them is wrong? An 8 year old isn't going to know what's good for them. That's why it's up to the parents to teach them.
