    As the train pulls out of Wembley Park station, on the right you can see the block of flats where my uncle lived in the 1970's. Whenever i would visit him I always liked using his loo, because you could look out of the window and see the trains going in and out of the station. I lived in Kingsbury in the 1950's, so used that station many times

    In 1991 I lived in Kingsbury and would take the Jubilee line to Charing Cross. Back then the line ended at the Embankment. The ride looks a lot different starting at Wembley Park. In the mornings, almost everyone would change to the Metropolitan line at Wembley Park; I stayed on the Jubilee line since I had a guaranteed seat.

      Nostalgic :) Now watched this video from Australia. I used to live in near Finchley Road station. To my memory, Metropolitan line ran non-stop between Finchley Road and Wembley Park, so people also switched train for a quicker ride.

    Good morning. Just calling in to say "Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all". Now, remember: This is a season of good will, not to mention giving. On that note, if you are having thoughts about getting someone a present for Christmas/Xmas, REMEMBER: PRICES ARE HIGH SO PLEASE THINK CAREFULLY BEFORE SPENDING AS IT COULD LEAD TO PROBLEMS. I have had experiences with problems with money so I wouldn't fall into that trap. I sincerely hope that everyone here and in the whole wide world has a very Merry Christmas and a Happy, Happy New Year. It won't be long now as we move forward to a new year and hopefully, for people who are facing problems with relationships, the new year (2020) will bring a new start and hopefully, a fresh page to fill the year with joyful memories. I hope that Santa brings you the presents you asked for on Christmas Day. Have a good one.

Only one so far that I went on and got to film the Piccadilly line I was asked to not put online luckily that was the shortest one I did only from Acton Town to Heathrow Terminal 5 but started just after Acton Town filming due to having to leave right away and then back to Northfields so a short one. Hi,
    I would like to request for your Email address.The reason being, We in a research institute at Germany are trying to automate the detection of railway switches captured with cameras. For that we need a lot of image data. I see your videos have railway turnouts/switches. Can we use your video for non-profit research purpose?

      @@mlglucas9729 It's just a matter of time really. Where I live the subway/tube has been fully automated for years (no staff onboard) and they've just announced plans to automate above-ground commuter trains too. Computers are simply safer and more on time than humans. Unions may slow the process a little but there will be very few jobs as a driver in a decade or two. It's kinda sad but there's no stopping it.

    Great video, bright and sunny weather for it!I have so many questions for people who work on the Underground - are the different stock similar to drive, or would you need a fair bit of retraining for say, S stock? Is there a rivalry between different lines, or because they mostly go to different places, does it not matter?

    • @billymillest1529
      @billymillest1529  7 лет назад +1

      Meerkat Musings I was very happy with the weather for sure and extremely pleased. I don’t think their would be a rivalry because they all work together. I think in the days when it first started then yes their would of been. Yes it is different to drive one stock to another but the training is very easy for drivers as most stocks are very similar to each other for easy change over it’s not much training you need to do it
