What is jicama? I've never heard of it... Can you just cook these meatballs in the sauce or do you have to steam them? Do you have a recipe for Bo La Lot? Great video as usual!
Jicama is a type of root vegetable that contains lots of juice. I added that so the meatballs will not be too dried. If you can’t find jicama, you can use more fat or oil in the pork. I steamed the meatballs so it wouldn’t break in the sauce. You can cook directly in the sauce but don’t stir while cooking, that way the meatballs can stay as whole meatballs.
