I have a suggestion for reviewing any product.......you should show the contents of this bottle which gives a real view of how premium this rum would be....... I never had this bottle, but 20 years old rum for Rs 950, that sounds too good to be ......I have the following questions: 1. Is there any added flavors? 2. What percentage of this rum is 20 year old 3. Is the 20 year old rum distilled and aged in India? 4. If yes, then what percentage of this goes to angel share? Considering India's hot and humid climate, ageing for 20 years isn't that easy. Old monk is notorious for using misleading marketing tactics such as the age statement which isn't actually an age statement. If you're adding flavors, it should be labelled as flavored rum, instead of aged rum
So here is the thing Amit. When you review products for RUclips then you are doing it for the people who aren't really very keen on knowing all the intricate details. Plus every sec in a video is like important real estate. so it's not possible to show the ingredients in the video unless it is something that is extraordinary.
@@AmbrosiaMagazineOfficial Bro.......Most of the literature printed on bottles are so called marketing bullshit.......and they are very misleading. I don't want anyone to get fooled by these.......
@@amitchkrabarty05I absolutely agree with u brother.... highlighting ingredients to show the integrity of bottling is necessary... consumers now adays are very much quality concerned unlike the old days..n all other such youtube channels shows us the courtesy of mentioning ingredients that goes into the making of any beverages to show the transparency n integrity of the bottles..period
@@AmbrosiaMagazineOfficial I haven't had Bailey so I don't know...but I just want it to go down smoothly...like soft drinks...so which one would u suggest...sir
@@bluebeerider7208 You can't compare the two coz one is a rum and the other is a flavoured rum. It's like comparing a plain Vodka to a flavoured vodka. Between the two I prefer the Amber. But if you like sweet profiles and drinks then the Coffee will be better for you.
That’s not the only challenge. The reason why manufactures do that is coz molasses is a natural byproduct and if they don’t want to add colours then they need to make the rum with grapes. Which is an expensive affair considering the price sensitive nature of our market. Also, the market in India for rums has not matured that enough that users are still looking for products that are made out of grapes or sugarcane. So the day the consumers start preferring those rums. Maybe that’s the time when the manufacturers will also move towards premium rums.
@@AmbrosiaMagazineOfficial Something prepared from grapes aren't called rum, they are wines when fermented from grapes. And when wine is distilled, it is called brandy
Thank God You made complete video before got High

@@maks-ld4mp i agree
It is much better than all those so called scotches (entry level one below 3000) which is also a marketing gimmick.
Great review
Thanks a lot. :)
Where can we find this? I tried to find it in gurgaon. But its not available here in Gurgaon.
This is very difficult to find. Ideally it will only be in their home state.
Which one is smoother and tastier between old monk coffee and Amber?
Amber for sure. Coffee is infused flavour, it’s like baileys if you’ve had that.

Is it only available in 750ml or other quantities also
Only in 750 ml is what I understand.
@@AmbrosiaMagazineOfficial ohh , it should be atleast half also 😕
@@shivaverma5703 Usually it is difficult to find these in other capacities since these sort of products are marketed as premium and unique. :)
I just purchased a 180 ml, it's priced at 310 in WB, lets hope it's going to be smooth as expected.
But its a shame that india produces huge quantity of sugarcane and still we drink Rum with artificial colour and flavour...

Old monk normal is best taste 👍👌
Old monk normal is better comparison to other brands.
It cost 1450 in Maharashtra and The old old monk legend costs 1200rs why??
Because the Amber has a 20 year blend added to it and the Legend doesn't, hence its cheaper.
In goa it 675
bhai 970/- ki hai full bottle and half is for 440/-
Where?
Malt nahi molasses hai
Really. Thanks :)
