The premium Indian whiskey market seems to be getting crowded these days, with a lot of new entrants throwing their hats into the ring. How they are perceived with their scotch brethren will be interesting to see in the years to come. I hope to have a dram or 2 of this whiskey in the near future but am afraid that it will be quite pricey when it enters the Maharashtra borders, probably double its Delhi pricing! This is something that will work against it & the other Indian whiskies as price to value proposition will be the key to their success. Thanks for your review & wish you & Devans, the very best. Cheers!

Yes that is true Pulastyaji. It is good to see that more Indian companies are becoming ambitious and producing good whiskies that can compete in the international market. I feel as the market and the makers mature, they should be able to make better products here on.
As for the pricing, I dont feel that it will be double the cost, but yes it will surely be pricey when/if it enters Maharastra.
Lastly appreciate your kind words and best wishes. We hope you get to have the whisky soon. Cheers

Thanks a lot Sai. :) for Mumbai you’ll have to wait for it since this is a small batch whisky and it might take sometime for it to be available here.

Dewan breweries is just 3 km from my home and i came to know today about it. I knew there is some alcohol factory but never thought it would be a famous one. Will now try to get a tour of the breweries.

Hi Pranish. This is pretty good but I would like to believe that the Glen 18 YO is far ahead. :)

Bro i am confused in between indri or gyanchand or glenfiddic 12 which one i choose to drink neat i never taste any single malt whisky

Glenfiddich 12. If you haven't tasted any Singla malt before then it would be a good place to start. Develop the taste and then move to Indian Single Malts eventually.

Over priced just to fleece money in name of being single malt expensive locally made save cost but charge hefty profit
