I love how you explain everything so we do don't feel dumb. I can't wait to purchase some texture paste! My favorite part was your mother saying "this is what you wanted?",lol. I always ask my kiddos their opinion.
Loved this video! The coloring of the texture paste and then the sound of fast mode was super cool! Then your mom... love your mom! That black background was awesome! Really made that card pop! Beautiful!! That was my fave this video! Super fun!! TFS!
Was worried when you put the black border on it but the black sentiment made it all blend together. Think that one is my favorite. Thanks for the inspiration.
When I make things, my 8 year old daughter is my sounding board. She has great color sense and loves to give her expertise!! It's a fun way to encourage her and share time together.
I love that you still ask your mum for advice! Beautiful cards ... my favourite was the first one with the coloured texture paste (but only by a very small margin!!)
I just got this stencil yesterday..along with seashells. Can’t wait to see what I can do with them! Love this new tech. Loved the texture paste and glitter one the best.
Love LOVE these techniques, especially adding glitter to the texture paste 😱. I have seen the watercolor stencil technique but haven’t tried it yet, but always love watching it again to get more inspiration. Thank you!🙂
Love your new stencil! I think I like the first card with the texture paste best, but I do love the technique you used on the other one too. They both turned out great. Thanks for sharing this video with us.
Both fun, however, I like the texture paste card more. Yes, we don't need the same medium in every colour. That's a lesson I learned on with pearls, crystals, embossing powder etc. If you have Sharpies for pearls & crystals you're set. Ditto for pigment inks & clear embossing. My advisor is my husband :). He's picked up a lot overhearing the RUclipss I watch ;)
I love that stencil. Unfortunately it's been sold out on Ranger Ink and I'm waiting for it to be restocked so I can get it and a couple other things that are also sold out. :( Your product is so popular it sells out fast.
Hi Simon! I love you videos! It's inspiring to see someone so young and talented. I have a question not related to this video, and I apologize if you've been asked before about it. I absolutely love your bracelet and was wondering if you made it or if you purchased it? I'm really into macrame bracelets and am trying to figure out the knot. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
I like the appearance of the first card best! But knowing me, I'd probably do the easier technique of the second card! LOL! Both turned out really cool!
Hi Simon I was just wondering can you just put a stencil on top of your paper then smear the transparent gloss over the top wait for it to dry then add color to your paper? Then wipe it off where the color is on the stencil? Can you do this with the transparent or matte colors?
Nice job Simon. Love the new stencil. Curious, rather than spraying on the glitter, could you mix extra fine, right into the texture paste when you're mixing the dye inks?
What items would you recommend for someone who is just starting out and isn't sure if they will like card making? I feel they should be good things so it gives a good impression as this for a new crafting endeavor! Is there any place to get a basic starter type kit that would have the supplies one would need? Thanks for any help ideas that you might share with me!!
Hi Simon need some advice please, I did the exact same technique a few nights ago but the card was very warped. I used the same texture paste as you and distress oxide. What am I doing wrong x
Tried the texture paste technique today. What a mess! The stencil stuck to the paper, the color bled under the stencil and the palette knife kept going in u dear the stencil😝
Drywall compound is much cheaper. 3 pound for $3.61. Keeps a long time sealed. Tint with acrylic. I'm sick of all this commercialization. I'm on a budget. I wasn't born a rich kid.

Smoosh is my fav new word!!!!
Hi, Simon!
I really like the first card because I learned a new technique. I'd never seen anyone color texture paste using ink pads. How clever!
I love how you explain everything so we do don't feel dumb. I can't wait to purchase some texture paste! My favorite part was your mother saying "this is what you wanted?",lol. I always ask my kiddos their opinion.
Ok, the best part? The noise of wiping texture paste on the stencil. That is The Coolest Noise.
Lol! Agreed... love that sound. :)
Thank you so much for the instruction on adding color to texture paste. I needed that.
So much fun! Thanks for sharing your genius with us!!

Love the technique of ink and water directly applied to the stencil.

Love your new stencil! I think I like the first card with the texture paste best, but I do love the technique you used on the other one too. They both turned out great. Thanks for sharing this video with us.
Love the texture paste/glitter card and the black really makes it pop. The second card is cool too. Thanks for the video.

Oops. I take it back. I just now found the stencil on Scrapbook.com. And it's on sale. Excuse me. I have some shopping to do :)
Amazing!
I am learning so much from you, thanks a lot 👍. My favourite is the first one, colouring texture paste, must try that 👏🏻. Tfs

Is card making asmr a thing ?? Get on that Simon!!
Pretty colors 😊
Thanks! :)
I am your first like today 😁. Love this stencil and your design with the texture paste...😎
Yay! Thanks Janet... So glad you like the frostbite stencil. :)
Nice job Simon. Love the new stencil. Curious, rather than spraying on the glitter, could you mix extra fine, right into the texture paste when you're mixing the dye inks?
Yes! I think that would look great as well. :)

Can the texture paste be used with foil through a laminator?
No, there is a special Thermoweb texture paste for that! :)
