Thanks for watching and all the kind words, guys. Just be clear, I'll still be replying to comments, and I'll still be posting in the Community tab. I just won't be uploading any more videos. Update: This comment is a lie.
Thanks for all the memories. I first discovered you around mid 2018 with the CN retrospective you did, and ever since then, I have become hooked. As an American who doesn't know a lot about UK VHSes and DVDs, you opened up my eyes. Thank you immensely and Peace and Love.
Finally finsihed watching this (Been doing so in stages) gotta say this is one fantastic collection and whilst we viewers wont get to see it grow on camera, I hope it does expand even further, physical media is the way. I know I've only followed your channel in the last 18 Months it's one thats had me hooked and looking back at the other content. On a seperate note I'm actually kinda kicking myself for forgetting about the multi language series because I met Unlucky Tug last weekend (At the Awdry Extravaganza at the Talyllyn Railway) and I mentioned the Farewell Thomas Video to him and I certainly would have mentioned Multi Language to see if he watched that, I think he might have said that it rang a bell to him.
Oh thanks very much for mentioning it. Yeah, Farewell Thomas was one of those videos that had to be done. Probably one of my favourites in Video Memories 😀
@@Gondarth if memory serves me right I did mention video memories to him but I don’t think he said he’d seen the rest of that. You’d probably have to ask him yourself. Though as I say there is a chance he would have watched Multi Language as he does watch a lot of the other RUclipsrs. I was there with Usual Bloke Luke and Tug recognised him.
It'll be a shame to see you go, been subscribed since Gondarth's Recordable Fridays started! Not often I find somebody as interested in old cartoon network, and having copies of your tapes almost makes up for the loss of my own childhood recordings.
Universal and Original Film have recently said they're making one more movie in the franchise and it's going to be a second part to that movie since it ended on a cliff-hanger.
I had this problem with NTSC for example let's say I hooked up my xbox 360 and put it to 60HZ NTSC And record some sonic adventure I tried that and my easycap hated NTSC so the recording was a flickering mess which means I have to get a supported capture card or a supported vcr for NTSC recording and playback The only way I can do it is getting something similar what RHS uses which is get a supported RCA Capture card or split the VCR To play HD RGB which is what i want to do when I'm older
That all sounds complicated. PAL and NTSC compatibility is a pain if you don't have the right equipment. Honestly, I got lucky with the VCR accepting the VHS tape as is. I haven't tried capturing footage of it yet, but I don't see why it would be an issue, since the VCR goes through the DVD player, which the capture cable is attached to...
Its been a good run Gondarth. Although I didn’t watch alot of your newer videos your old ones we’re so nostalgic. We’ll miss you! Stay safe and happy for the rest of your life. Goodbye!
Been subbed to you for about 5 or so years now and slowly over time your Channel became one of my favourites to watch on RUclips. Especially for the UK version of Cartoon Network, there ain't that much covering it on here, at least not from what I've seen, sad that you ain't going to be uploading anymore but I understand. Best of luck for the future G.
I respect your decision to retire, and I've loved your content. Especially "Video Memories". However, do you think there might come a point where you decide to make a comeback? Like if at some point there comes another creative spark, would take advantage of that?
@@tudorbrancuturcu5996 It was just "One Final Video" when I planned to retire. When the Recordable Fridays videos from the past couple of months were being edited, I added the question mark to the title.

We really enjoyed all the remarkable work, really good!✌🏻
Thanks for the memories, Gondarth. It's been fun. 🙂
Peace and Love.
I'm surprised you never did a Video Memories episode on Ready Player One despite owning a copy of the UK DVD.
I mean, it's a great movie, but I probably wouldn't have had much to make it interesting. I don't really have a story to go on...
@@Gondarth So could it be one of those good movies you have the least to say about?
Like watching your content a lot. Thanks for everything.
Thanks very much. Glad you've enjoyed over the years.

Hey gondarth if you have Cartoon Network uk robot Jones rips could you upload it to archive or Google drive
Sorry, I don't have anything relating to Robot Jones. I don't think I ever watched that show...
Have you seen Fast X from 2023?
@@ASmithsFunEntertainment I have. Things I liked, things I really hated. Jason Momoa and Charlize Theron were great.

@@Gondarth Out of curiosity, what is your Switch friend code?
Do you mean your retiring video memories because you've uploaded videos
Video Memories is retired, yes. I'm semi-retired at this point, where the majority of new content will be short and random videos.
Wait a minute, you still upload.
Yeah, I thought this video would've been it... Nope. Basically, I have no idea anymore 🤣
