Exactly as you said. Never heard of the brand and never seen the watch before. That Clerc Diver looks amazing. I'm gonna check out their site NOW. Really cool video.
Helm & Scurfa simply for the affordability to performance ratio. But I'd love to see a deep dive into that Sinn or any of the the other deep capable watches like Ollech & Wajs ,Doxa or the Omega ultra deep.
I second Scurfa. Their awesome Diver One D1 500 Titanium Black Proto Dial recently sold out in days. Extremely affordable and designed and tested by an actual professional saturation diver, Paul Scurfield. FYI, saturation diving is 'one of the least known, most dangerous, and, frankly, most bizarre professions on Earth'. This is not snorkelling with some bizarre watch in your swimming pool. This is the Real Deal.
@@WatchChris If you'd like to check out a Helm I have the Miyako (unboxed and worn) and the Vanuatu titanium currently on its way stickers and all. And currently on the short list for the Khuraburi titanium when it's released. I'll loan them to you for a review if interested feel free to message me if interested.
I always like unusual designs. I've got the Hammerhead V2, 1000m WR, but will be selling it. I also have their Abyss, 3000m WR. Zelos is awesome. Just ordered my first Wandering Hour movement. Love that Clerc! Great look at different designs, thanks Chris.
Great List Chris. If anyone is looking for some unusual reasonably priced watches, check out a brand called UW watches (they launch on kickstarter) - The Jellyfish is one that springs to mind, maybe you can find one for sale on ebay? Thanks for sharing.
I am excited to see a watch I own in one of you videos. The Zelos Hammerhead 3 bronze mop dial. I set my alarm to buy when it went on sale. It sold out in 3 hours. It is the most expensive watch I own as I choose not to spend my retirement money on expensive watches. I would love to see interesting watches that are more reasonably priced. I really don't care about the movement except for reliability. The dial and look rocks for me. Thanks
I’ve wanted a PITA Oceanic for a while now. Dive watch made in Barcelona with some unique features and 5000m rating. Big chunky diver made by an AHCI watch maker. Good vid!! Thanks
If I I ever win the lottery, I’ll be buying a ressence. Between ye magnetic linkage and universal gearing they’ve got set up, it’s a mechanical marvel.
Here's mine: the Blancpain FF perpetual calendar or Bathyscape full calendar moonphase. Like what? Why do you need this in a diver, who cares, I love it. Also UN does an AMAZING perpetual calendar diver.
Why would Ming have an oil filled case and only have a 100m rating? That's about as hokey as you can get. Sinn uses oil filled cases in its deep depth dive watches. That's the only reason to have an oil filled case.

Ressence & Sinn are amazing dive watches. I’d never seen that S.U.F. before and am very impressed. Thanks for the review.
Great episode. This is what makes your channel so awesome and one-of-a-kind. Thanks!
Thank you!! Appreciate that!

Would love to check out a helm or a scurfa they have some solid designs.

Love the Clerc !!! Great to see this channel going from strength to strength my friend !! Take Care - Nick.
Nick!!! Hope you are doing well my friend!
Visitor Duneshore Shallows would be my pick for affordable but unusual dive watches.

oh yeah, the Aequorea Kickstarter was very tempting
Just looked it up. Very interesting

I have a Ming(Was very lucky to get it), and I have the hammerhead and stainless steel(V2). Love the rest of your list as well Chris!
The WhatNot music is so Christmassy! Reminds me of Elf 🎄
Wow, thanks for putting Clerc on my radar. Out of my price range, but very cool. That one with the GMT subdial was really nice.
That CLERC diver looks amazing!

I really want a Ming. Chris, do you know if any of their models are 42mm?
You’re missing the Nove Atlantean. It’s an awesome dive watch. It has a Ronda 150
👍
Beyond my budget but, that CLERC is my favorite of the bunch ⌚😎🤙
Could you please make a hands on review for the Clerc Hydroscaph? I'd also love to see it on a bracelet.
Some good choices there
👍👍👍 Nice Watch 👍👍👍
Isotope are an interesting brand with original design without sacrificing legibility, also Unimatic...
The ming would definitely be my pick from these.
Was that a picture of you wearing the Ressence on your yacht ⛵
THANK U.😎🙏

Love oil filled watches. I have a U-Boat Darkmoon and the dial just pops at every angle.
are those mings still plagued with problems? sold my SINN UX
these watches are of course too expensive to dive and are collection pieces. The zelos seems interesting to me.
