Very interesting comparison. I am nothing close to an audiophile, and obv listening over my computer can't do it justice. That said, the MA sounded much better to me. Everything sounded connected and natural to me, whereas the Klipsch sounded very disjointed. The vocals and instruments sounded far apart and not in harmony on the Klipsch. These are most certainly not technical terms, but again just what I thought when closing my eyes and listening to a few times over. Now the problem is I can get a deal on the MA Bronze 5, not the 6 which so I wish this test was on the 5!
Monitors sound a lot more warm and forward, which I like.klipsch I would imagine would have a tad more detail in the upper frequencies, but I would sacrifice that for the overall sound of the monitors.
MA, undoubtedly! Warm and full sounding even through my laptop headsets. Song sounds less fatiguing with the balanced sound of MA...Klipsch are great though, but would take MAs on any day!!! maybe a comparison between MA bronze 6 and RP260/RP280f...)))
Is that a Mcintosh? Top tier for sure. there is no substitute. I do have a set of monitor audio bronze b4’s and those are the loudest I’ve ever heard from those size of a speaker. It seems the more I crank them, the better they sound! They just doesn’t seem distort.
I'm in the ''I hate Klipsch horns'' camp. The sound reminds me of a 70's rock concert when they used horn speakers for the vocals because they were loud and projected for long distances, but sounded really brash and 'in your face'. I know some people love the klipsch sound but I find it to be disjointed and not very refined. They feel like 'party speakers' where the main goal is to just be loud so you can dance. My 2 cents.
Your correct in calling these party speakers, they are high frequency Beasts that you can kick out. I built a pair of speakers just for that function which I used in my garage, used woofers that normally are in name branded speakers used by bands. (Marshall's)
Do they use burned in speakers for these demos? I can say that the Monitor Audios get better bass-wise. I’ve had mine for a while and the bass is very good now. They sound even better now.
Well I have bought a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 2 to replace my Klipsch reference speakers. The Klipsch did not work well in my system, a hardness in the midrange and vocals and a flatness to the sound. Hopefully the MA will be an improvement. Judging by this video they will be.
The med sound in that region is very hard to reproduce (unless you have panel speakers) and the Klipsch aren't so expensive like most good sounding speakers. You can buy Klipsch for as low as $300 a pair. But the flagship ones would be better in that region, I would think (and also expensive).
That's kind of a blank statement I've heard bookshelves wipe some towers across the floor the driver amount is a tiny factor monitor also don't use all drivers for bass it uses one for the mids and two bass unlike to full range in the klipsch
Hello! Advise, I choose from speakers which ones will play better, Monitor Audio Silver RX 6; Quad 22L 2: Sonus Faber Principia 5 or Bower & Wilkins CM 7?
Klipsch have a more detailed 'middle' sound on the harmonies but bronze have a fuller and warmer sound. I prefer the MA but I suspect they are the cheaper of the two?
They both sound good .The Bronze have more pronounce mid-range..listening on my home stereo I would tend to go with the Klipsch..But would have to hear in person before really knowing..
There is a microphone problem while recording the Klipsch. From 3:29 to 4:06 is ok but from 4:07 and to the end of the video the problem occurs. The Klipsch sound worse because of this so please repeat the test. Thanks.
Monitor Audio a better performer especially in the mids and highs. IMO and using my mid fi headphones (B&W PX) I found this particular Klipsch a little bit shouty in the hights. Klipsch lower bass however seems more dynamic. Maybe because it is or maybe a side effect of lack of mid.
In listening through my tablet both brands sound good but different. Now if you listen with headphones or ear buds the Monitor Audios really separate greatly from the Klipsch. Comparing through listening, the Klipsch sound muddy in the lower frequency and very bright in the higher frequency levels. It's to be expected with horn tweeters and you should only use one in your center to help with dialogs. The Monitor Audio price point is right on, if anything you'll overpay for the poor sounding Klipsch towers. Compare at these spots 2:25 for MA's and 5:55 for the Klipsch. I'm not against Klipsch speakers, you can make them work with other speakers in your surround sound setup, I've even owned a pair and put them where I needed the brightness to integrate with the others.
Well its a personal choice in the end. But my ears fell for the MAb6. And i only listned to this on my Phone speaker. The bronze 6 sure got a wider and warmer sound.
MA has better low-mid-high integration. I dont know about pricing of model shown here. Perhaps difference price bracket? Bronze 5 is not very good though, lacking low extension.
fleszmuzik There are a lot of very good inexpensive amps to choose.... I would personally search in the web the lowest price of the new Roksan K3: a talented, vivid amp, perfect partner for the rounded character of the Bronze 6!
Klipsch is made with high sensitivity. So whatever goes through it will play exactly. You need good equipment. Line conditioner.plus great wires.not expensive wires. There's a difference. Plus the source. Use portable players with dad or external dacs with any source. Like example my ifi.dsp. it's another world. You'll love it all. Lol
Wow. Now these days the sony as a great amp. Sounds smooth. Starting from the str dn 1070.it doesn't have atoms but has a feature just like it which gives you front raised speakers. Including the center and it's more powerful
Monitor audio sounds warmer and musical Klipsch are crisper and with a tighter bass....am I wrong? :-) what is the best according to you? anyway very nice comparison because the differences are udible even on a compressed youtube video.
xenig ron The most surprising thing is that your impressions on a youtube video are exactly the same impressions that we had in live listening! I completely agree with you except about “musicality”, this is too much subjective. For me the R26F are a bit more musical then the BRONZE6
I sat down with my sony receiver and my cambridge soundworks satelites and a sony sub. And I don't understand why people would say klipsch is slow.when I hear more intimate. Less fatigue. Less ssss.that you get with bad high tweeters.cant believe it. But to me the klipsh horns sounded neutral and less aggravating. More dynamic. More appealing. It gives me a sense of intimate or intimacy with the music. Expression. Feeling.something I get when I listen to my fostex headphones with my any of my fiio dac .headphone amplifiers.its something more internalized. I know it sounds weird to a lot of people. But this is one of the reasons I have fun with music. I started with headphones and and expensive items. Because it would cost 20 thousand to over 100 thousand to get the same type of details with speakers. Being a. Ice parasound amp. The kef.100 towers or even the less expensive ls50. To give anyone an idea. Plus a. Nice.12 inch subwoofer. As long as the sub is calibrated correctly and doesn't overwhelm the midst and highs.
No you are not I ordered the klipsch icon kf28. And comparing the icon to these. They are basically identical.actually the icon are set to be more neutral. The bass is beautiful. After a few weeks of breaking in. Now let's not forget something. Aluminum breaks up quicker. And it's less detailed than titanium. But its also smoother more neutral. Titanium is used for more detail and separation at higher volumes.they sound great at lower. Volumes. That's why we have different levels of speakers and tweeters for the public. So we can choose what we like best. And receivers come with a and b for that purpose. At time you want a little more detail and sometimes you dont. So you can have your two pairs up front and switch between them.
I'm kind of in a dilemma here between buying a Canton Chrono 509DC, Monitor Audio Bronze 6 or Elac Debut F6. Can you help me out here and kindly giving me your valuable opinion? Many thanks in advanced.
I've never auditioned the Canton 509DC. The other 2 speakers are both respectable budget-class floorstanding speakers. I would personally go for the Elacs
If you want warmer smooth mids and nicely intergrated lows..monitor if you want transparent crystal clarity with low punch grunt...klipsch klipsch sound pretty nice with a warm amp..bit of both worlds.. maybe try the monitor audio up against the new Klipsch RP8000F reference.. ;0)
Monitor Audio obviously are very boomy and muddy. Klipsch ones are much more clear and articulate but bass-light: they would benefit from a good pair of musical subs.
Dear Anton Chigurh ;-) Bronze 6s are honest, wonderfully balanced speakers, however XT6Fs are more entenrtaining, more nuanced speakers, with plenty of details. You can't go wrong with both but my personal reccomendation is for the Tannoys
Sound Sommelier thank you! I was trying to convince myself in stereo but multichannel is something i want. Was looking in Cambridge Topaz SR20 with Tannoy but i've made up my mind on Denon X4400 with full Bronze surround package. Those Bronze 6 really look fantastic and i'm sure they sound the same. Cheers :-)
$500 Canadian for the R26f per pair (!) . Now looking for a good amplifier to drive it. It's between the NAD 316bee or the Denon PMA600ne. Probably given the reviews I've heard it's going to be the Denon.
If your R26f speakers are Klipsch, get the DENON. If they aren't Klipsch speakers, maybe go for the NAD. Why do I say this? The Klipsch have a bit of a "wiry" sound and so does the NAD amps (too similar). That's just my personal opinion based on how the Klipsch and NADs sound. I have a NAD and there definitely is a lot of treble and it sounds a bit thin, a bit like the Klipsch on RUclips and they do say the Klipsch have a lot of treble.
That's what I've heard recently too Steve Guterman ( might be mispronounced) said that Klipsch and KEF and a host of other speakers are fairly " out front" and that the Denon is the way to go. I was surprised really. I thought that the value line C316bee from NAD would be where the Denon is and vice versa. The only part I'm having issues with is that the PMA600ne isn't showing as available. It's on the website but there's nothing out there. It's like looking for a car, being told that it's in the line up but they just don't have one.
Going with the Onkyo A-9110. Way cheaper and I can get an auxiliary DAC. For about $1500 to $2000 Canadian I have a kick ass stereo. Maybe not a complete audiophile setup, but the quality is still there
I used the headphones to hear the comparison. Interestingly the volume for the MA seems a little louder than the Klipsch. Is the volume the same? Because the sensitivity of the MA is only 90dB and the Klipsch is 97dB. Therefore, if the volume is set the same for both, the Klipsch should be louder. The mids are more pronounced on the MA then the Klipsch. The Klipsch to me has a cleaner sound compare to the MA. Again it is interesting the MA has the wider frequency range than the Klipsch. It seems that the Klipsch has more like a "V shape sound signature" (not much) than the MA. I thought the MA suppose to have the "V signature sound" because of the wider frequency. Hearing the music from the MA is more livelier. If I were to close my eyes, it sounded like the performers are right there in front of me. While the Klipsch sounded more a little isolated. Overall, I like both speakers. I have to hear it myself at the showroom to make a decision. Good comparison!
Sarebbe fantastico un bel match tra Klipsch heritage e Tannoy legacy series....magari inserendo ogni tanto un pizzico di JBL :-) (anche una lotta fratricida tra la serie heritage di Klipsch non sarebbe male....)
Complimenti comunque per il suono chiaro che esce da questi video....aiuta ad alimentare la perversione che già galoppa ammirando tutto quello che si vede nel bel negozio :-)
Monitor Audio has ALWAYS been a warmer, more tonal balanced speaker. To be honest, if the BR6 was used instead of the B6, (yes I know they're a generation older), you'd notice an ever larger difference. The BR6 are actually much warmer than the B6. I'm the newer years, MA tended to get a bit more harsh, their high end really dipped and three mids tend to be larger and through the balance off. At the end of the day, MA is a far more audiophile speaker than Klipsch. Klipsch is a mass marketed, big box "high end" company that goes for loudness over true reproduction. Look at the sensitivity. The Klipsch are over 100db, the MA peaking around 93db. I've had MA for decades and absolutely love them.
Hi these klipsch are less expensive than the MA to make a fair comparison make it not with the cheaper klipsch R Class make it with equally costing Rp class like the Rp280f they will floor the MA completely in my opinion. And there wasn't that much for a big difference between the two considering the difference in cost between the speakers
the comparison should be against the klipsch rp260f speakers. even these economy series klipsch have a smoother sound. more natural sound. the MA speakers sound good, but try some jazz music. and use the rp260f speakers.
Just my opinion, but I loved the music on the MAs. I couldn’t get through half of the song on the Klipsch speakers. I say that as a fan of high-end Klipsch equipment.
I honestly think these 26fs stack up better than people would like to admit. Scrub the video back and fourth between the two speakers and tell me the Monitors sound head and shoulders better than these basic Klipsch which can damn near be purchased as a pair for what it would cost to buy a single Monitor Bronze 6 tower. But yeah cost wise, the 28f would be a better comparison even if they do have 8" drivers. But in true fairness, the RP-260 would be the proper Klipsch to put up against this particular Monitor pair. And considering how well the 26f faired, I'd bet the RP-260 would be the clear cut winner.
Yes. $500 Canadian a pair for the Klipsch R26f's. Everything else in this $500 price point wasn't even close. I listened to it through a Denon AVR though. I'm going with an integrated amp though for cleaner sound. Probably either a Denon PMA600ne or NAD 316bee
Skip the 600ne trust me I owned it was dissapointing I powered a lots of klipsch speakers including cornwall Iv and I sold it for a audiolab 8300a much better amp for klipsch mass market speakers. For the cornwalls I went with a 300b set amp and now in audio heaven, so Id suggest moving up a few levels from the 600ne itbwas a disappointment @@blakenewton2781
It’s hard to give a fair comparison, especially if you’re listening to this through a phone. The only way to truly test these speakers is to be there in the same room with them.
Этот тест показывает что монитор с этим усилителем звучит полнее чем клипш. Но это не значит что клипш хуже, с другим усилителем возможно звучание бет противополжное.
Even with this video is not certain enought to perceive the big difference in audio quality. you compare a entrey level klipsch, with a mid range polk. and even with that disadvantage, the klipsch perform very close. you should compare with reference premier minimum RP280FA OR RP260F, and believe me. something serious could happen.
Klipsch R26F -Not quite the right vocals, but the rest is high quality. For me, he is better. Monitor Audio BRONZE 6 -Smoother frequency response, but the sound picture is not clear.
This is a tuff one, however to me the MA's sounded a little muffled on the top end. The klipsch seemed to really bring the top end up quite a bit with the same amount of bass, midbass and midrange as the MA's. I am listening through a pretty decent system myself and have owned all kinds of gear. Sometimes klipsch is a speaker people love to hate. In this presentation I think its fair to say that neither speaker is outstanding, however in THIS presentation I think the klipsch sounded better.
I couldn’t distinguish between them. But then, I wouldn’t be able to, listen in on my iPhone! Even if I listened on my Kef Refferance via my Rega Osiris, I would be listening to the sonic characteristics of my own, not the speakers being compared. You really need to listen to the actual speakers, not a diluted version.
Hello I own a pair of jbl es100 speakers and I have an opportunity to buy a pair of Monitor audio bronze 6 speakers at BF price would you consider a major upgrade (sound quality) from the jbl to this Monitor audio speakers? I can't listen to them live I have to buy them online Thank you
MA present bass, which warm and soft. It heats clear boundaries, MA in comparison klipish, sound more costly. This is especially true for lowercase. And the winner is---- МONITOR AUDIO B6))))))
Obviously Monitor Audio is the winner.
(I am using Klipsch Reference Speakers myself)
Yes! Bronze 6 is much better i think for classic and jazz...

Very interesting comparison. I am nothing close to an audiophile, and obv listening over my computer can't do it justice. That said, the MA sounded much better to me. I came here after viewing your 5 or 6 videos of the sonus faber il cremonese . owww what a difference.
Thanks for the demo! Klipsch really impressed me!
Absolutely Monitor Audio have a great & clear sound.MA is the best!
Monitor Audio,, No doubt
I have bronze 6 in my house sooo goood!!! And the look stunning.
Didn't expect the difference to be so notable. MA all the way! :D
Klipsch too much better tho.
My 2 cents.
Lmao cry. Klipsch's details blow your crappy audio up to the sewers where it belongs.
Your correct in calling these party speakers, they are high frequency Beasts that you can kick out.
I built a pair of speakers just for that function which I used in my garage, used woofers that normally are in name branded speakers used by bands. (Marshall's)
Should have tested against the R28F for it to be a fair comparison, bigger woofers do make a difference.
Do they use burned in speakers for these demos? I can say that the Monitor Audios get better bass-wise. I’ve had mine for a while and the bass is very good now. They sound even better now.

Monitor Audio is much more open, detailed and dynamic in its presentation. (Using none of them!)
I found the exact opposite: I found Klipsch just that.. lol
In my country where i stay i don't have an option for MA. Can any1 help me which one should I go for R26f or polk S60?
There is a microphone problem while recording the Klipsch. From 3:29 to 4:06 is ok but from 4:07 and to the end of the video the problem occurs. The Klipsch sound worse because of this so please repeat the test.

I think it was because he was moving into position
No doubt monitor audio!!! for this song ;)
how are bronze 6 vs dali 7 ? if you leave the listening position can you still fell the base ?
were they level matched because Monitor seemed louder
Monitor Audio a better performer especially in the mids and highs. IMO and using my mid fi headphones (B&W PX) I found this particular Klipsch a little bit shouty in the hights. Klipsch lower bass however seems more dynamic. Maybe because it is or maybe a side effect of lack of mid.

(anche una lotta fratricida tra la serie heritage di Klipsch non sarebbe male....)
margix mi piace la tua perversione audiofila! 😄😄😄 appena sarà possibile logisticamente, organizzerò il versus 👍
Complimenti comunque per il suono chiaro che esce da questi video....aiuta ad alimentare la perversione che già galoppa ammirando tutto quello che si vede nel bel negozio :-)
Anyone else find the Klisch speakers siblant ?
It's precisely what gives them their unique flavour . They do have a bit of sibilance .
the voice more clean with monitor
Monitor more clear 3 range, sounds more dynamic wide range. Vote for monitor
It's not a true full range speaker though
Not saying klipsch is better in here because I'm looking to buy a ma bronze 6 lol
Are those monitors 2.5 or 3 channel? They sound so much more full spectrum.
Monitor Audio bronze 6 are 2.5 channel.
Kiplish more detailed and precision sound but bronze more open sound and better dynamic Who is winner ? For me bronze
It’s like day n night. MA crossover seem to be doing a great job. Not to difficult to say it’s MA loud n clear 😊😃
Monitor Audio . Better crisp midrange and solid bass. Klipsch a bit shut in in transparency but well rounded bass.
The sound at the first of the klipsch wasn't right for some reason,
Monitor Audio has ALWAYS been a warmer, more tonal balanced speaker.
Wow the Monitor audio towers Sound amazing only over apple headphones you can tell the difference
Hello, what speakers do you recommend for the Yamaha RX-A1080 receiver?
i will go for monitor audio bronze 5 with centre an rears
Hugo Kleynhans, is better than KEF Q750?
@@JeffersonSoaresSP kef q750 requires big amp i would say more suitable for stereo amp
Hugo Kleynhans, thank you!
Monitor Audio !!!!
Hi these klipsch are less expensive than the MA
to make a fair comparison make it not with the cheaper klipsch R
Class make it with equally costing Rp class like the Rp280f they will floor the MA completely in my opinion. And there wasn't that much for a big difference between the two considering the difference in cost between the speakers
il volume con le Monitor Audio si trova a 41 - Sulle Klipsch a 38
Monitor Audio. Sounds more natural
Monitor audio win! Song name?
the comparison should be against the klipsch rp260f speakers. even these economy series klipsch have a smoother sound. more natural sound. the MA speakers sound good, but try some jazz music. and use the rp260f speakers.
Just my opinion, but I loved the music on the MAs. I couldn’t get through half of the song on the Klipsch speakers. I say that as a fan of high-end Klipsch equipment.
bronze6 gout
an extra woofer for the MA, the comparison is not quite clear to me, comparing MA with 4 drivers against the klipsch with only 3 drivers
A postscript. I went with a IOTA VX SA3 amp.. It really smoothed out the Klipsh speakers. A very good speaker
@@blakenewton7972 that McIntosh is a real deal. It’s hard to find anything better than McIntosh.
Monitor Audio. It's warmer.
Monitor Audio BRONZE 6 nice bass its a win , klipsch have little missing bass
Monitor audio, of course
I Think You Should compare Klipsch Rp-260F or RP-6000 vs Bronze 6. R-26F is not similar class
I'd go with the ma anyday
Этот тест показывает что монитор с этим усилителем звучит полнее чем клипш. Но это не значит что клипш хуже, с другим усилителем возможно звучание бет противополжное.
Now bump to klipsch's flagship line
Yes and at the same time compare them with MA Platinum series and see what the comparison is like.
@@Thegoose2024 there compairing the same price range lol
Monitor Audio...
that was easy
Even with this video is not certain enought to perceive the big difference in audio quality. you compare a entrey level klipsch, with a mid range polk. and even with that disadvantage, the klipsch perform very close. you should compare with reference premier minimum RP280FA OR RP260F, and believe me. something serious could happen.
These are entry-level floorstanders from both companies and are priced similarly, which would be the point of the comparison.
I have a pair of these klipsch in the uk and dont sound bright like this test iv had some very expensive speakers and am shocked how these perform
I demo'd both of these. Klipsch won't ever have my money. The Bronze 6 were incredible! B&W CM10 level.
I have a pair of Klipsch r 26 f and they have too much deep bass and not so clear mids and highs, in my opinion. How could I do to make them better?
Monitor audio WIN!!!
In this presentation I think its fair to say that neither speaker is outstanding, however in THIS presentation I think the klipsch sounded better.
as for the price, the Klipsch are playing very well and many other more expensive speakers will not play this way
I have the 26f and glad kuz they really do kick ass
I couldn’t distinguish between them. But then, I wouldn’t be able to, listen in on my iPhone! Even if I listened on my Kef Refferance via my Rega Osiris, I would be listening to the sonic characteristics of my own, not the speakers being compared. You really need to listen to the actual speakers, not a diluted version.
MA has an edge on mid n low because it was 2.5 way compare with klipsch with 2 way design
Hello
I own a pair of jbl es100 speakers and I have an opportunity to buy a pair of Monitor audio bronze 6 speakers
at BF price
would you consider a major upgrade (sound quality) from the jbl to this Monitor audio speakers?
I can't listen to them live I have to buy them online
Thank you
Cserey Tibor Honestly, not a big upgrade... I wouldn’t do it
@@SoundSommelier thank you for your quick answer!
and the "Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-250F"?
Cserey Tibor Maybe, horn-loaded tweeters are not for everybody, better an audition first 👍
@@SoundSommelier Thank you! I will hang on to my jbl for now
Monitor audio is the winner
I préféré thé monitor
MA present bass, which warm and soft. It heats clear boundaries, MA in comparison klipish, sound more costly. This is especially true for lowercase.
And the winner is---- МONITOR AUDIO B6))))))
