      There are more trees now than ever before in recorded history cause of coal oil and gas and re planting efforts and cause way way less people heat their homes and cook food with it you dont believe me look it up

    I carry this same axe in my chipper truck for work, but I just use it usually for hitting the back gate to get it to close

    I’ve always been scared of swinging an axe incorrectly and missing the log and chopping my leg off in the back swing. No one ever taught me how to have a proper stance. I’ve been thinking about working at a lumber mill/lumber yard to make some money but also learn. I want to know how to properly fell a tree and split logs like this. Trying to learn by watching your vids. Keep it up man, love the videos

      If you have any minimal amount of natural athleticism and coordination it will be a breeze to learn

      There are classes to take to learn how to work in the Forrest. It is dangerous work. Also there are foot and leg protection you can get. Accidents happen. Be careful.

    looks nice. You should try the adler super splitter. Just split about a cord with it and I love it. Looks pretty comparable. I think the super splitter is about a 6 pound head.

    What is the best technique for adding more power or strength 💪 to splitting logs? Btw i love your videos i started chopping down evergreen tree stumps. Great workout but i feel my technique is not powerful n i tire out after 10 chops.

      Just keep chopping. As you build strength., you will swing harder and chop faster. As you build stamina, you will last longer. It takes time like most things do. Good luck!

    On the third piece of wood to be so easily split, does anyone clearly see the bust of a human figure besides me? I know science calls this pareidolia when anyone finds the image of a human face, but damn if that tree didn’t take on the character of some lost soul.
