20:00 hard to believe that Ryu didn't catch the laughing cue to find the kaizo blocks. I think he's so tuned into the visuals that he blocks out the random stuff that can be thrown in.
Bowser JR's get up animation is proximity based to Mario. Staying further away from him will make him get up faster. For all that Ryu has played this game I can't believe he doesn't know this.

First of all, plenty of fire flowers don’t need extras, secondly EVERY TIME u try to hold something in Yoshi’s mouth u come upon a spot where u would rather be able to use his tongue, but can’t because there’s a useless fire flower that u can’t have when he runs away anyway, and u lose everything. It happens a lot. Lol. Yoshi’s abilities trump the power up

He's too impatient. In so many locations he could've avoided taking damage if he had just waited a couple seconds for the right moment.

Anybody else pick up on the second level. The spooky sound and screen effect triggers whenever a red coin is above you. So they aren't totally random.
The problem is the effect was used in places without the blocks also.

Not gonna lie, I never got the Mario Maker hype. Didn't really... get it. But I found your channel a couple weeks ago for F-Zero 99 and these Mario Maker runs have kept me here. Haven't finished the Wonder World Record video cuz I'm only on World 4 and don't want to spoil it for myself but... solid stuff here man. Thanks for keeping me entertained through my midnight shifts.

Yeah SMM is stuffed with super tight exploits like that first level. Not so much SMM2. I'm still convinced it's the boo button. ALSO you need to check that second level. I'm positive he gave himself a dev key in the beginning
SMM2 is way harder. Even Ryu said as of late the levels of SMM2 are getting incredibly tough. In smm1 you can go super expert chill and relax and still clear it.

That WR in the first level is extremely sus. 50 sec is 30 sec better than Ryu’s time and he only wasted a few extra seconds in that last room with the left to right skewer. There definitely is some cheese or dev shenanigans..

It's good to do some challenges like that with levels so long you have to continue the challenge in another video. It makes it more epic. What if you had a goal to try to get the most crazy epic type of levels that were all extreme in 1 run as some kind of Journey to beat the most difficult epic Super Expert 100 man challenge that you could. " This was my most difficult beaten challenge I beat. " WHOA COOL. " Here's the hardest one I came across and beat. " YEAH MAN. WE'RE ALL COOL AND HELL LEVEL CONQUERORS AND STUFF. And then the future only gets..... nevermind.

in the second level, you hear the ghost horror sound everytime there is a secret vine, that's the clue, they are not random.

Ryu, I just want to say, I don't know how you do it to be so patient with some levels. There are some hot garbagios and shenanigans that I can't tolerate. But not gonna lie, it's a blast to watch you play those tho. Just a friendly reminder to take pause to keep your sanity level high alright ? 😄👍
