I've owned a few AMG cars but the truth is, I love AMG Wagons. Mercedes-Benz didn't sell many station wagons in the U.S. and so the E55 AMG and E63 AMG Wagons are among the rarest AMG cars in existence. I love mY 2003 E55 AMG and it's time to add another to the fleet. In this video, I show you around my new 2005 Mercedes-Benz E55 Wagon. I show you the $35,000 in repair receipts the previous owner left with the car, we go over the modifications done to the E55 to boost its horsepower to about 550 and we take this beast for a ride. Naturally, I have to fix a few broken items first and I even take a few other automotive RUclipsrs like Hoovies Garage, Tavarish, Samcrac, Rich Rebuilds, Ed Bolian and Jared from Wrench every day. W204 C63 sedan (pre facelift), ML63, and of course the SLS
C63 (you have one), Amg SLS Black (Please get one), 190 E (Dont ask, I am wiredo)
S-W211 E55 and E63 amg, S-W210 E55 amg , S-W202 C55 , S-W204 C63 ♠♠
It's actually more comfortable being in that wagon with all the guys than it is social distancing during a pandemic!

The 55 wagon was actually measured to be faster than the sedan. It was 0.3 seconds faster to 60mph and if I recall, better on the skid pad. Probably due to better weight distribution?
Yes, testers here in Germany found out the wagon even drifts more controllable because there is a little more weight on the rear.

@@vantilmichael9122 yeah, everything but the roof and hatch (obviously) should be the same. Everything underneath the car is the same. But if the lower bumper is the same across both sedan and wagon, it'll fit perfectly

Alex Congratulations on such a great find. You are the man. I owned MB wagons for 22 years and loved every minute. They are practical and sophisticated. No suv no minivan just cool. My neighbor just loved sitting in it. I have now gone electric. Can't wait to see your skills at work. BTW I had the same mechanic all those years a genius just like you.

Great video! Loved the surprise RUclips all stars at the beginning. This is one of my dream cars but I would never own one because of the nightmare of maintenance that seems to go with owning them. Only a mechanic like yourself should own one of these cars. My W210 wagon was pretty reliable though. The W211's and beyond were scary complicated to me.

My favorite AMG’s are the the late 80’s AMG Hammer (sedan and coupe) based off the E Class, 03-06 S Class/CL 55 and 65, the 05 CLS 55, 09 S Class/CL 63, and the Current S Class/ S Class Coupe. It is kinda hard to pick only 3 since AMG has so many great models.

I love this car! In large part due to this channel I bought and e 320 wagon about a year ago. I call it my Anti minivan/battle wagon/ E'wagon. Bought in central Florida, a set of AMG wheels for less than 200 bucks, drove it straight home to Pennsylvania and my kids love it!
As I grew up in the Netherlands, I've always Loved Stationwagons!! I was brought home in a 2 door stationwagon from the hospital when I was born and my dad had couple of Stationwagons 😍

Awesome! I was really shocked when I heard you were going to sell your E55. But like in case of AMGMeister, apparently guys are only selling their E55s when they found another one to work on. 😂 I totally get the wagon thing, having owned a Volvo 850 R for nearly 15 years now. Too bad the E55s were not available with manual transmission. I am looking forward to watch all your maintenance and modifications on this particular car! I can’t wait to see the new V12 you alluded to at the end. I like the current wheels, why not just get them refinished and sell the other 2 sets to cover the refinishing cost?

Very nice wagon Alex. And the hood emblem is a must have, the only exception is when an MB has the emblem in the grille.
In 2013 I test drove and tracked a 2013 CTS-V wagon on the COTA track in Austin Texas. It was just as fast as the coupe and handled great. You can still find them for sale.
