I thought Toyota had an app that allowed drivers to interact with apps from the phone, like Waze, via the car's screen, versus simply casting the screen?
Casting goggle maps is useful while driving though. Thinking outside of the box.

I do have miracast, but it dors not help me getting waze, since it says "the Video is not available while driving"...

Your Camry is new enough to support "Android Auto" which is a far superior casting system that miracast. There are plenty short instructional videos on RUclips. My Camry is 2019 so I need to look for some other way to cast maps.
@@colinshearer not all Camrys have android auto and that projection button seems to me like a good lead on how to get Screencasting to work but no one ever demonstrates it. Or they give false information like yours trying to help, but it's ultimately wrong.
@james112680 It's available on Camrys from 2020 onwards. Mine is 2019 so just missed it. RUclips explains all, Dick, so I'm just telling you where to look. It's not wrong information: You just have to show a little bit of literacy.
