Great interview , only I have a different view of Ritchie's lengthy retreat from the Rock world. He was burnt out on it and he just happened to have something else that he wanted to do. As for his playing , he did a lot of terrific acoustic guitar work in Blackmore's Night and showed far greater acoustic chops than most Rock guitarists will ever have. He needn't apologize for any of it.
Ce groupe a toujours été formidablement bon , et il l'est plus que jamais ! Comme le dit Ian Paice " have fun " !
Don Airey learnd from Jon Lord. They did some sesseions togehter. As a former Keyborder from Rainbow he know the business. RIP JON!
Ian Paice is just the coolest, wise cat....love listening to him!
Excellent interview!

I seems like you gave it a packed lunch and a backpack of snacks before sending it out!

Two great blokes.
I love Blackmore but interviews with him and other band members when he was running the show were never ever as lighthearted and happy as this.
Two nice old blokes chatting, and enjoying their craft.
if any strech of the mile on how ian feels about richies return to rock he always says when the man in black is back hes back its a family afair.
Je comprends rien !! et le sous titrage ça existe !?

It's an interview, not a live...
