Cassandra Illion has dreamed, and her dream was a bloody one - broken Adventurers strewn on the Dungeon floor, glittering elvan eyes watch her destruction, and only the rabbit seems to escape unharmed, but not unscathed. But because of her curse, cast upon her by the god Apollo, none will believe her words, and so Cassandra of Illion is doomed to weep her tears dry, with none the wiser for her counsel.
Please make sure you include Cassandra shielding Lili and Haruhime in your cut content for episode 13. She is getting a ton of hate for how they portrayed her in that episode.
Also it would have been nice to show that Lili was also freezing up before Daphne woke her up in this episode. First to show Daphne doing even more good during the battle and second to show Cassandra wasn't alone in despairing daring the battle.
Where's the first half of DanMachi Season 4? How come you didn't finish DanMachi Season 2? Namely the rest of Volume 7 and the last bit of Volume 8.

last 3 seasons was filled with all out action, wholesome and fan service. And then comes season 4 were all of those moments just got replace by trauma and blood stains
oh, there'll be fanservice all right. And some wholesome too. Most of the gore should have been in the last three episodes of cour 1 though, they sort of put it there but the LN was way, way more gruesome lol

According to light novel where's s4 is come from, there's one moment ryuu and bell hug each other to warm theirself with no shirts on 😍 ( i hope that moment get animated by the studio )
Oh yeah, this is where the main character gets some real growth. Even though he's been growing at a ridiculous rate already now, he's probably going to go through the most difficult experience of his entire life, and we see how much everything else is made him progress. So this is probably going to make him skyrocket
This season the series became a horror adventure series

Hestia Familia's predicament is reminiscent of my experience in most mmorpg that I played. You go into a dungeon with your party thinking that it will just be a piece of cake but you get smacked back to reality with an unkillable boss that wipes your whole party in just one aoe strike. 😅

That was literally the point of blowing it up.
The master mind asshole knew the juggernaut awakens when the dungeon is damaged and that's exactly why he did it.

Uh not correct... "No one" may refer to people but the dungeon itself controls all the monsters until they are freed from its control... hehehe!! Remember how Wiene talked about that before she became herself.
@@hakuakua3020 All the Dungeon monsters have a crystal core, Bell said The Juggernaut didn't, so it's really more of a White Blood Cell The Dungeon uses to purge itself. So the Dungeon probably doesn't control it either.

REALLY bad day along with his friends as they fight for survival against all of the odds, the first three seasons have been more light hearted though the story starts to get darker as they go on and then in the fourth season, blam, straight into the depths of hell!!

I've never seen Bell in this bad of shape before, I'm just glad Ryu's there to help him. Otherwise those Shadows would've taken him out.
Ryu is mainly emotional support at this point

@@kororma more than emotional. She can teach him about the monsters on 37 and how to fight them. And she actually can fight a little still, and with some healing, even that will improve.

Her heal is AoE, about 10 feet around her, and she is on standby til Lili orders her to heal, sooooo... Yeah she is mostly just gonna stand there til called into action.
She still worried about her prediction will come true.

I'm absolutely loving this season. I love this anime and it's characters but this really is the first time bell gets to see just bc hes a main character he's not a unbeatable.

Unless Bell gets rescued from the deep floors by a 3rd party, I can only imagine he'll have to carry himself and Ryuu out of there with his bare hands, which would UNDOUBTEDLY be a heavy task, but should he succeed in doing so, i can only imagine he'll at the very least go up a great deal in all his stats, if not just straight up go to lvl.5

So since it will be a while to the next season, I will just say, Bell can level, but they are waiting for his stats to go higher first, whit the contect in universe that Hestia does not want even more tax on the familia right now.

My biggest annoyance with Cassandra is that she never once entertains the possibility that she's interpreting her prophecies and visions incorrectly. That's like THE main thing about prophecies; they are always open ended and people never interpreted them right.
She does take that into consideration a bit. She tries to puzzle them out. But hers in this are a bit more on the nose than most. Rabbit eats sun. Lightning will rise.
And her getting Welf to make the goliath scarf was due to her trying to figure out the prophecy (not just the lines but what she also sees in her dreams, because they both come into play). As was her trying to get them to stay on 25.
But this is also part of what has worn her down. She tries something and it looks like something changed. But then, something else happens to lead to the prophesied result. Like a time traveler changing something and history doing something else to reset back to the way it was or as close as possible.
There's a good chance episode 14 will show her trying to work out a line of the prophecy (if they don't cut it out).

@@LuminousArc92 I haven't read LN6 in months if not longer. I got the gist of it meaning Bell would beat Apollo and that the prophecy was on the nose, as you so aptly pointed out. I was just countering his assertion her prophecies were open-ended.
@@madcat1738 I find it weird that I can relate to Cassandra and know why she is the way she is.
I was really surprised at how many people didn't like her falling into despair. Maybe I feel empathetic towards her, the feeling of knowing but not being able to do anything. hopelessness, despair, that all your efforts to change the future, will always be in vain.
But as stated by aninews, she dwells on the past, that she needed to hold on to what she has now rather than dwell on the things she lost.
@@prateekkarn9277 ignoring what the anime does in episode 13, this was her final stumble. I felt Omori drew her arc out so well. She'd move forward then fall back, but kept pushing forward. And then she fell. Hard. And it froze her. And Daphne pulled her up and she decided to push again. All the way this time, so much so she really speaks out too.
So I don't really view it as being tied to the past. Relapses happen all the time. And they can devastate those who are really trying. A beaten animal always reacts the same to a raised hand. Her response is almost Pavlovian.

Amphisbaena is a Monster Rex of the 27th Floor, and is the only Floor Boss that can move between Floors.It is estimated to be Level 5 in terms of Strength though the Guild sets her at Level 6 due to her battlefield being Water. 🔔
For me the novel often feels darker and scarier, of course we can imagine whatever we want while reading. But most of the deep floors is still to come so let's see.

Personally I've always believed Daphne does believe in Cassandra's visions, but keeps trying to move her forward in order to overcome them.

I really loved the cgi used to make the terrain, really gave the feeling of space.
Would love to dive into these but the anime is so bloody hard to find, with it only seeming to be on HIDIV without working subs :(
Barely any content from the LN was left out of the anime this time at least for the first episode and I imagine the same can be said for the second one. Aside from some minor changes, the content that was left out were mainly explanation or context that can't easily to shown or would not work well in anime format.
Although if I'm being the devil's advocate, we COULD have had a flashback sequence to picture Cassandra's "burdens" with I guess a shortened version of Poem of Despair, Poem of Triumph. The flashback sequence can comprise of the War Game arc where her captain didn't believe her and lead to their defeat when she describes how her Familia doesn't believe her, then when she describes even her best friend which shows Daphne calling it nonsense. You pretty much get the rest. While it's a sequence of flashbacks, mixing that with Cassandra's poem I think can be a real shocker to the audience showing she is the way she is because all she had done to change her prophecies had been for naught. Either ending in the death of her Familia mates and those around her. It does not have a take a lot of time but a few flashbacks of the previous anime seasons of her prophecies being dismissed as nonsense and things happening as she foresaw would be a dark but powerful imagery showing that she HAS tried to change inevitable fates but her soul continues to be crushed. Especially now as she knows not that Bell is still alive thanks to her.
I can't wait for Cassandra's reaction seeing Bell and Ryu alive. The only one who believes her who she thought would never see again, saved thanks to her.
There's also where Cyclops saw Welf's hammer shatter, and then Miach entering the smithy to ask her for help

It's usually pretty easy to predict the outcome of such situations, but quite honestly? I have no idea if someone might die for certain this time, nor how or if bell can beat the juggernaut or get out of that hell. Once he's out though, I wouldn't be surprised if he gained another level
I think this is a brilliant story, and a brilliant love story of sort between Bell and Ryuu, thay need each other to survive and after this they may need each other to live and not go insane from the madness from the dungeon!
I do hope the ppl recognize and re--evaluate their thoughts towards cassandra's prophecies. Its rough being overlooked all the time, just some pep talk during crisis doesn't change that fact and damage that was done to her mental state. At least I hope it doesn't go the typical shounen way of everything being dandy after the fight is won.

Wasnt bell's arm cut right off when he faced juggernat in books? also he did slice one of its legs or am i remembering it all wrong.
In season 4 of the anime, they showed that the mermaid Xeno used her healing abilities to restore Bells arm.

As for the juggernaut, after Mari healed him in the water, Bell proceeded to destroy one of the reverse leg joints with the Hestia Knife which greatly reduced the juggernaut's speed and ability to jump like a pinball.
After that his Argo Vesta took off the juggernaut's right arm, half of its tail, and destroyed half of its magic reflection armor. And the juggernaut fears Bell now.
Besides questionable Sub translations its always funny how much cut content exists.
