The explanation is correct and excellent, but it is better if you could slow down a little because I was looking for videos to help my friend learn, I studied this subject first year in university. I appreciate that you provided practical explanations and examples

can you please write the steps of the sloution
    for example:
    analyze > descriptive statistics >explore
    Question No 1:
The data given below represents the scores of 10 students in a final examination. Create SPSS data file and for variable Scores use visual binning and recode into different variable to create classes for the data giving code "I" to scores between 75 - 100, code 2 to scores between 61 - 75, code 3 to scores between 41 - 60 and code 4 to scores between 0 - 40.
Find the frequency tables for new
variables. (Save your input and output file).
Final examination scores of 10 students
    Sr no. Scores
    1 58
    2 86
    3. 74
    4 60
    5 35
    6 70
    7 69
    8 55
    9 42
    10 37

If you read the question carefully the steps are already mentioned within. Simply follow through into SPSS ... Initial data entry becomes your input file and the recode with the freq. table becomes your output file.

How did you get the mean of the income values?? Plz tell

    • @LearningPuree
      @LearningPuree  Год назад

Mean of the income values is calculated like any other Mean (as indicated in the previous example). However, the Mean was calculated to exemplify how erroneous it would be to use such a parameter. Hence, the illustration proceeds to calculate the Median and NOT the Mean. Trust this clarifies your doubt.

The sample is different for different examples and I have mentioned that in the video. Note that the sizes have been kept low to simplify the understanding of the concept.
