Appreciate that Loren! He reminds me of a lot of different guys, definitely some Davante Adams, a little bit of Calvin Ridley too. He and Ridley play at a flat out higher speed than other guys on the field, so awesome
Wow this was really cool to watch. He has such a unique play style. The way he different has all these tricks with his footwork, it looks like a Sesame Street character that's out there stomping on defensive backs. Vikings have had so many good receivers from Ahmad Rashad, Anthony Carter, Cris Carter, Jake Reed, Randy Moss, Stefan Diggs, Adam Thielen, and now Justin Jefferson.
I thought my knuckle ball line was kinda cheesy, but that's really what kept popping into my head when I watched him. He has like 5 routes mixed into every route, it's insanity
Question : Is Fred Warner the key to the 49ers being able to shut down the wide zone (heavy play action) offense? Or maybe more generic, is elite LB play the key to defending the wide zone offense? Because (when healthy) the 49ers have absolutely dominated those offenses (Rams, Packers, and Vikings) the past few seasons. Playing the Wide 9 defense seems to make running outside the numbers difficult. So you’ll have to attack the inside run, and because the wide 9 is spaced out, it puts a lot of pressure on the interior D-Lineman to stop the run. Which is difficult, but it seems to work because of Fred Warner’s uncanny ability to read the offense (and also his elite coverage skills). He’s seemingly able to play the run very well, while also never selling out on the run and never biting on the play action (and vacating his coverage duties). *Qualifier - I got into football recently and admittedly don’t know very much, so I could just be completely off. But I’d be curious about your thoughts, even if I’m way off and I look dumb. Lol

Considering his qb throws THREE PICKS in the FIRST HALF against the 32nd ranked defense who was 0-5, and just fired their super bowl hc, it’s impressive how he managed to achieve that record
@@AlexRollinsNFL Jefferson's first 2 games had him in "training wheels" because of the COVID offseason. Imagine what would he could have accomplished with two more games started.
