That is a manager who holds himself accountable, without making any excuses. He has absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.
He’s a nice guy but a horrible manager you don’t put in Castro to pitch a second time during the World Series when he blew it the first time and was doing horrible from the all star break to the postseason
Rangers fan here and this man has nothing to be sorry about. He took his team to the World Series. Look at who they had to get through. That alone is a huge deal. I know it may not mean much when the Rangers got the win but all I’m gonna say is the Diamondbacks fought back. They didn’t just roll over, they made them earn it. A single mistake and this is a flipped scenario. I also wanna say to DBacks fans, thank you for being stand up hosts, you guys were very classy and I don’t think I met a single fan who I did not like this series. It was night and day with you guys than when the Astros came to town, I’ll keep it at that lol.

I was rooting for the Rangers but this man is a great leader and has nothing to apologize for. The Diamond Backs were fearsome opponents and every at bat was a great duel

Classy manager who has nothing to apologize for. He beat out 28 other teams and that’s no small feat. It was simply the Rangers year and they deserved to win. A franchise with no prior championships winning it all was very satisfying to me. BTW, I’m a Yankee fan.

As a Rangers fan, I salute them on their class and outstanding play. Very young team and they have a very bright future.

What?! Rangers dominated the dbacks. Only challenge for the Rangers were the astros
1st game, having to come back late.
2nd game, lost from hits
3rd game, low scoring game and they made the pitching close. Plus we lost Max and Adolis
4th game, probably the only closure we had with 11 points
5th game, a no hitter into the 7th with jam after jam
The D-Backs definitely made them work for it

Tony Lovullo did get us there. Not many people expected the Dbacks to get through the Brewers, Dodgers, and the Phillies. Well, maybe the Dodgers because they always choke in the playoffs lol. It was an unforgettable post-season even without a World Series title.
Oh Skipper. Theres no reason to apologize, we did what no one thought was possible, we swept the WC and Divisional round, we took the NL Pennant from the heavy favored Phillies ON THEIR HOME FIELD. We simply ran into the better team, it happens. We're proud of you, this will be an October that none of us will EVER forget. And nothing will change that.

The "I will" sounds personal. If anybody deserves a WS, it's the Dbacks. They had to clean house years ago, got rid of bunch of players. Fans didn't like their favorite players go, but it's something that needed to be done. Then, Mike Hazen lost his wife. Try managing a big league team after your wife passes away. Then, it was a rebuild. During the rebuild they had bad season after bad season, until last year. Now, their team is a young team with a lot of talent. They've been through a lot.
As a fan it’s hard to say you didn’t do your job. It was a very close game witch doesn’t happen often I think the game was won by talent
