It will feel even better after an alignment. Ohlins makes great suspension. Just gotta experiment with the dampening/compression settings to get the ride you're looking for but once you do, they are amazing coilvers.
@@ThicWhips With camber plates and alignment you'll definitely experience much better feedback. For track I use 5 click front and 10 click rear, and it work even for daily so no need to adjust on/off track. If my memory serves me correct I have -3 camber front (265) and -2 rear (295) and to me that's a formula for a perfectly balanced car. If you cannot find suitable camber plates I can recommend Millway Motorsport. Just keep in mind that you cannot really lower to much beyond recommendation without risking to bottom out.
I run Ohlins R/T on my E92 M3 and agree that it is the best street (and some track) suspension out there. The softness you're feeling is not from insufficient damping but the rubber bushes in the suspension and chassis. Solid subframe bushes and rear sphericals conversion will transform the ride and give you the stiffness without sacrificing harshness.
I totally recommend a Carbahn stroker kit. I just got the 4.6 L for my e92 M3 it's amazing. Sounds great and completes the car with the added torque. I'm hoping to do a suspension on it soon :)
This car has become my new dream car. I'm a huge fan of small/medium sedans and own a 2008 E90 335i and a 2016 F80 M3. But this E92, in this color and with how you have it right now it definitely going to be my next BMW purchase. Great car, build and resto project! love it.
Bro, your right why? Distroy your engine with forced induction. If you were only track and only track, go for it. But if reliability is your beef, or like most people then go naturally aspirated. After all, looking for high speed in reality is, that the only thing that speed gets you on the street is BIG FAT TICKETS, we can do without the tickets. Great channel bro, BMW E92 all the way live.

I'm running Millway Motorsport Camber/Caster plates on my E90 M3. It's a quality piece, 10/10 would recommend. I bought it locally at EAS for $495 plus sales tax back in November. Vorshlag is made to order so there will be a wait time.
I second keeping the GT Haus exhaust! Their quality is insane and an awesome team behind them. They are 40 minutes from me actually and are doing an exhaust for my X3M next month.
Oem cat plus Miestershaft is all you need to do. Mine was originally decanted and it was way too obnoxious. I just ordered the f8x bbk blue kit looking forward to more videos congrats on your ohlins
I always thought Ohlins gave you the best of both worlds, a comfortable ride with top line performance. I saw on Ohlins engineer years back do a thorough explanation as why you didn’t have to have a super stiff suspension to get peak performance and feedback out of the suspension. Ill try to find the video and forward but his message was you can have both comfort and performance with their setup. Ive been waiting for them to set me up with a set for my AMG GTR hopefully soon.
They most definitely do give you the best of both worlds. My preference for over ride rigidity isn’t performance based, it’s just feedback preference based. But I’m sure ohlins knows what they are doing
Don't knock the RTD shifters til you drive one haha. Honestly one of the best mods for driving feel you can do on these cars. completely transforms the experience in the best of ways. You can also get the shorter ones that sit lower. To each their own tho!
It’s nice to see the car come along. I am not sure if I want to change my comp suspension just yet. Would like to ask - What is the distance between the ground and the top of the wheel well. Tires and rim size vary so I am curious on distance from ground to fender. You talked about changing the transmission, did you mean the bushings or short shift. I get that same smile rowing thru gears. Amazing
Nice vid n wanted to let you know what I’ve figured out .. shell gas has been proven to add 5hp and some added torque .. and throw on some air intake scoops if you haven’t .. definitely will feel the difference when you get on the gas .. and I’ve fully charged my battery and no lie my car has never been faster … very enjoyable 🔥
It would be cool to keep this naturally aspirated, stroker kit, American Racing makes some killer long tube headers for this motor, regardless whatever you choose tuned in!
So I absolutely hated that my car has a sunroof and no CF roof....until I remembered I can mount the GoPro on it for decent driving videos lol. Gonna be a good view on track. Get that good shifter action in the shot lol
@@ThicWhips Thanks brother! I bought the Ohlins for my Porsche 997 just last night, after the Bilstein B6 shocks I put in that don't work at all. Super bouncy and crashing everytime you hit a little crack. I drove the car the other day, hit a little bump in the corner only to get no shock absorbtion at all.The car just bounced off and with that I lost traction and control .This is with eibach lowering springs and stock springs, I tried both. Its good to know your preference on the Ohlins and KWs, I just thought the KWs would be better since they are more expensive.

Are u thinking of changing the rear diff gear ratio....too much could effect driveability but a small bump up could make the car more torquey

Having preload while not affecting height adjustability is huge. You’ll never hear these coils make noise. And they ride beautifully
