  • In this video I go over every step to installing Öhlins Road & Track Coilovers on a BMW E90 M3.
Exact same steps can be used on the E92 & E93.
You can also use this video for other coilovers but I am specifically showing Öhlins in this video.
    Thank you to

not gonna lie. i can tell this kid works at an everything shop. but as a bmw technician i can tell you he knew a lot but he did a lot of unnecessary things in the fronts. the hub did not need to be removed from the car whatsoever. and the oem repair instructions dont say any of what he did needs to be done. but we get paid the longer a job is so shoutout to him🤣

We did everything by the book on purpose to show exactly what it calls for. Yes you can shimmy the strut out but you could potentially damage the fender as you only get a half inch of wiggle room just about.

Great video but would be able to provide the ride height you set to in mm for front and back?

@@StonebrookRecords tbh I don’t remember. It’s better to set that after the install. Every car is slightly different.

@@spoolindsm127 I have not had any issues. Feels great honestly. I’m on a firm setting but if you go on the softest setting you’re riding on clouds compared to stock.

@@zkramez Damn every time I think to save money and go with Bilsteins I get pulled back to Ohlins with comments like these. Thank you, think Ohlins or bust for me 👍
