When listening to this out-of-print children's audiobook, would you please consider buying me cup of hot cocoa?

I had this copy as a child. What a treat to hear it again and the much missed Bernard Cribbins. Thank you.
I've been looking for this for years. I'm in my 50's but have very fond memories of listening this as I fell asleep. Thank you so much for uploading.
I always wanted to be like them as a child.
i hope it stays
thankyou for sharing this 🙂
Wow! What a treat! I started reading the full novel when I was in the hospital some years ago, but I didn't finish and left it there. I still want to read the whole thing. This sounds like a nice adaptation.
What a narrator! Had the pleasure of chatting to him regularly as you would expect he was an utter gentlemen.
A well-read and fascinating adventure. Thank you.
OMG! This is my favourite book
One of our favourite family listens in the old Citröen GS. Bernard Cribbins reads this so well, wonderful to hear it again.
Bernard Cribbens was amazing at everything he turned his hand to.
Wonderful reminder of life that was simpler, less intense, less decadent and 'nasty' than contemporary life.
Would be great if there could be time references for different chapters.
Great story😊
Thankyou
This is a shortened version. Well read, but disappointing to listen to.

Poorly read. Not a patch on the version on Audible.
What nonsense! Of course one might well prefer 10 hours and 15 minutes worth on the 2008 Audible "Unabridged" recording to an abridgment, then again, why not both? At the moment, the "Audible sample" at Amazon allows an interesting comparison of the opening chapter, and an idea of the scope - and impressive skill - of the abridgment of at least this part. Bu that Alison Larkin reads better than the late Bernard Cribbins? De gustibus... But while I can imagine listening to more of her, I am left wishing he had also made an unabridged version as well as this delightful one!
