We don't need military financing; we need economic development and infrastructure financing!

At sabihin ko sayo para malaman mo, yong sinasabi mo na (we need economic development and infrastructure financing) at Ganon din yan nag honest lang ang America sa sinabi para mamili nang military defense, ang china napakayaman nang economy nila Kaya malakas ang kanilang military defense dahil hindi sila masyado corrupt ang mga politician nila. At yan ang kasundoon kung gusto yumaman ang bansa pang upgrade sa military defense at handa rin sa gira...yong mga investment signing investment nang dating pangulo sa china at Russia at sa iba pang mga bansa para makautang ang bansa natin sa world banks sa ating bansa at pati Kay Bong Marcos at mga financing din yon kagaya niyan kaso sinabi lang niya ang totoo para mamili nang mga military weapons para makaprotikta ang bansa natin...
Why are you insisting your military aid, we don't want war, we are peace loving people, Philippines is a friend to all nation, and enemy to none. Instead of military aid, help us in food production.

Who cares what China thinks? Even if you don't do anything, China will always be thinking. Such is the nature of a paranoid and weak government like the CCP.
geopolitics of today is full of risk. from China to N. Korea to Russia to Terrorism to Climate change (military assets can be use for rescue operations during typhoons etc).

what can you buy with $100M? one fighter jet worth $70M and one attack helicopter for $30M. The $100M is not aid but more like a loan. That means that our goverment will have to pay it back.

If the US really wants to help modernize our country’s military equipment, why not offer a squadron of modern fighter jets? or two or three frigates to protect our interest in the West Philippine Seas? Not Hand me downs that were used during the Vietnam War. Even if these are hand me downs we will still have to pay for it.
