You are very humble to call yourself “amateur,” but I must say it’s not too accurate. Very good playing and beautiful N1X. I look forward to seeing more. :)
Beautiful playing, even if it's not even final form! 👏 I'm always expanding my knowledge of Chopin repertoire with your playing. Somehow I missed a notification for this performance but it showed in my video feed now.
Thank you Tek :) I’m always glad that I can share more Chopin pieces with you :) His music should be discovered by every human on this planet 🙂. YT notifications seem never working for me either.
That's a good practice, I really like the way you played Op. 55 No. 1, most people play it way so soft and I think it doesn't give the tension that some chords want to pass to the listener. Op. 55 No. 2, it's the first time I listened to this piece, I don't have much to say besides it goes really well alongside No. 1, I feel like No. 1 is telling a tragic story to the listener and No. 2 is like a more "philosophical" (reflective) view of that story.
Thank you as always :) Yes these two nocturnes are such a great pair...! I'm glad that I was able to introduce the nocturne No.2 to you :) This is another magical piece by Chopin! Yes, I feel there's lots of suffering going on in No.1, and then it resolves with No. 2. 😇
