Honestly I love g-wolves as a company who takes risks I have been using their HSK Pro Ace for over 1 year now and it is endgame for me with my finger tip grip.
The word you were looking for is "thenar eminence. (The musculature at the base of the thumb). A huge part of mouse design for me, because I use that part to stabilise my aim. Probably why I like the Fnatic Thorn the most
As someone who is a pure fingertip aimer this looks pretty interesting. My main for the past few months has been a fingertip mod for the g pro x. I’ll definitely be watching this company
@robertbobbybob no. I updated to latest beta driver. Didn't know if that matters. But my previous lamzu mini 4k did sometimes. I had to set a wire high debounce to fix that
I use a fingertip grip, and man it's hard to find one available from where I am. That was finally resolved when Keychron distributed their M4 mouse. It's soooo perfect!
I love your videos so much you go into such detail about the shapes which is really all that matters now since mouse tech is so good now. I'd love to hear your opinions on the beast x mouse although the shape is a finalmouse clone almost exactly.
As always, great mouse review. A couple of things I wish were covered in these reviews are the replacement part and repair of mice factoring in. One is the mouse feet, some companies use mouse feet that are really only gotten from them, others are readily available. What switches the mice use and the teardown process to replace/clean them. People replace their mouse when they have switch issues when they are easily replaced. Shining a light on this could be worth mentioning. (Plus, I hate omron switches and if I can find a mouse without them already they get bonus points 🤣)
Thanks for the review! I'd almost buy the Hati-R out of appreciation for their innovative approach. PS. Ultralight MX518 shape remake would be great. Quite unbelievable imo that even this remake could be considered innovation nowadays. Because indeed, the vast majority of new mice are too similar shape wise.
I actually fixed my MB4 button issue by 3d printing a wedge and the using 3M tape and grip tape. Its a dream and I have mained this mouse since its release
While I appreciate the new shape, it's pretty exclusively for extended ftip. Mine has sat on the edge of my desk largely unloved. The HTX mini on the other hand...
I'm like hybrid claw-ftip grip and I use XE and can't use anything smaller, especially grip width, these are too small and I dislike that shape or any egg-like though. If I wanted something like this I'd rather just get Zaunkoenig one. Maybe even slap a different shell on it as alternative.
I still don't the get reason why 2:1 would make movements more stable in one axis. Isn't friction the same, no matter what direction you move it in? Can someone please explain this to me?
the typical length with a wide flair on the tail end are designed to prevent the mouse pivot diagonally, maintaining a straight stable horizontal movement by keeping the back end of the mouse touching the thenar and hypo thenar
I had a question about mouse shape. I currently use the G303 (shroud mouse) beacuse i found it worked for me when i got it. I'm not sure if grip type can change over time but I find a somewhat new issue where the mouse sometimes lifts up from the mousepad when im gripping it tight in tense situations. Not sure if theres a mouse with a similar shape or if i would need to go back and relearn aiming with the original mouse shapes.
Are there any mice options that are wider and taller at the BACK and narrow/lower at the FRONT? I have loved my Zy's rail for years, but I find it's a bit too short for my palm and I don't have much contact from my hand at the back. Sometimes I go the opposite extreme and use my Logitech MX518 for comfort since that fills my palm, but the LMB and RMB are too high, the M4/M5 are too thin.
I have the ULX cheetah and the htr pro 8k from gwolves and tbh i prefer the htr pro 8k. i have little baby hands so it's perfect. it's a lot nicer than i thought it would be, and it hasn't crumbled to dust yet despite how light it is
Tried this mouse but could not get used to the shape my pinky and ring finger were either sticking together at the front or my pinky would be lost if I placed it towards the back. Switched back to the hsk pro much prefer that square shape
2:1 is only useful with a relaxed grip. aggressive bend in fingers changes this. also 60% of the hand is pretty inaccurate for my taste. the mouse is not used with the whole hand but mostly in the front part of your palm. I'd love me some short, wide mouse for my 18.5x11cm hands. something like a demon lovechild between MZ1 and HTS2. short, wide and light.
Fair enough, yeah that's why it's just a general rule to help people have a base to choose from and why we keep saying you gotta find what's right for you. Would be impossible to make videos for absolutely everyone. Hope you find a great mouse for you!
@@RocketJumpNinja luckily the human hand is flexible and is able to adapt. still waiting for the MZ1 update. maybe with a mzq wireless wide ;) thanks for the great videos. 👍
I want to buy it but tbh their price isn't reasonable. Why would I buy this when the new g pro would cost me less and be a safer choice. It needs more competitive pricing.
Can someone tell Razer to make their oldschool mouse shapes like the Deathadder, Naga, Abyssus, Krait, Taipan etc. with updated specs? They should do a remake of their old mice that people loved back then.
I need your help.. I have 19x9.5 hands and use relax claw or fingertip grip (hybrid I think). I Have VV3 Pro and GPX 2. I rly love both of these mice and cant pick one of them.. I play valorant and spectre divide, sometimes “The fianls”. Somedays i feel better with GPX 2, somedays with VV3 Pro. Cant chooooose( Also heard that logitech updated their sensor and now it’s the same level like vv3 pro - im not sure
I have 19x10 hands and also play valorant. The gpx2 and vv3 forces a relaxed claw grip due to shape. I know everyone is different but I play better with a more aggressive claw grip. Have you tried a claw grip mouse with the hump more towards the back? I currently use the sora v2 for this reason . Just something to think about. I’ve been through 10 different mice trying to find what works for me. I’d say try different kinds of shapes that forces different grips.
@@RocketJumpNinja the only mice ive used since then for any extended period of time are the sorav2 and gprox superlight, and while both are very good they both felt either too big or too heavy after really adjusting for fingertip grip. not unusuable by any stretch though (worth noting that before swapping to the m2k i tried about 50 different mice)
Even the Sora V2 felt too big? That would be pretty similar grip width as the M2K right? So how are you gripping it that the length of the Sora V2 would affect you that much? As for weight... yeah not much can compete with the M2K in that regard. So now the question is... if the M2K wasn't that light, would you still aim best with it?
@@RocketJumpNinja the grip width of the sora actually felt too narrow, especially with the hump the way it is. it was just kind of weird to use id probably still say the superlight would be fine for me to fingertip i think the weight does do wonders for the m2k. if it was say, 50 grams, i would use literally anything else i grip the m2k towards the front where its at its widest, otherwise i kind of end up cramping. still waiting on a 3d print to arrive which will hopefully solve all my problems
Ok so let's just talk purely about shape... take weight out of it. What do you want from a shape? Which shapes are your favourites? And what's your hand size?
I said it in the vid, 28 or 29 grams on my scales, did you want the video of the scales in there too? I left it out because I said it so fast I thought it would be jarring to switch to that scene for that second...
I won't mind having all the holes filled and bottom as well .. I dont really care about 5 grams if I don't have to clean the 5 grams of shit its gonna accumulate every month..
im not against companies expertimenting and not copying the same shapes, but i feel like when its priced so premium it just loses all competitiveness, and left just for enthusiasts. When chinese companies can put out basically flawless $70 mice with top notch specs its bascially a countdown to when they will copy these gwolves mice as well. I feel like companies should ego down and put some normal prices, not gatekeep these potentially good shapes to the hobbyists. Their loss imo.
I wonder how much it would be without the extras and fancy design on the box... because yeah would be good to see prices go down. But then inflation is a thing so I'm not actually sure what prices should be at this point.

why would these companies try and reinvent something that's been cooking for decades? razer and logitech tried pretty much all sizes and shapes. go buy and review really old mice if the industry standard bores you.
No they didn't try all shapes and sizes, besides, the consumer used to think the heavier the mouse, the better, so whatever they tried then and failed - it's a different market now
@@MrJohannson i have come across pretty much every shape and size possible. it's not gonna get much better or worse than something like the viper mini or whatever modern mice people use atm. idk where you get your information from about the weight of the mouse. personally i used to modify my mice.. i had a completely stripped down mx518 back in 2009. the weights companies used to add was for balance, and not to make mice heavier. get your facts straight.
