    Hello! Thank you so much for making these videos! They have been a tremendous help as I look for car seats. I just ordered the Evenflow 360 and am debating swapping it for the Graco Turn Me or this maxi cozy. I actually really like the Evenflow but I find her feet are weirdly high up. Would you suggest the Graco or the maxi cozy over the Evenflow 360, or are they all very similar?

      I do not suggest the Maxi Cosi. Most people who have it HATE it. I have the turn to me for my friend and she has been pretty happy with it. It only turns toward the door when it is installed in rear facing which is actually my preference so no one accidentally turns the kiddo forward facing too soon. To be honest that Graco seat is pretty impressive and I liked it a lot.

    Did the same exact install
    The base is very solid and doesnt really move at all but thr seat seems wobbly. Any idea why?

      I would tell you to call Maxi Cosi or chat with them since they are the MFR and they can provide better info than I can. I will say all the rotational car seats that I have touched IRL have movement while they are on their "base". You tend to get less of that on the seats that only rotate while in rear facing mode (Baby Jogger City Turn, Graco Turn2Me) but car seats that don't have any rotation tend to have the least amount of wiggle in my experience. I would still call Maxi Cosi. The best number I can find for their customer service is 812-372-0141. Best of luck.

    Hi! Can you please tell me which swivel seat takes up the least room lengthwise when fully reclined, in rear facing mode?? So, which one would give the front seat passengers the most leg room? My husband and I are both extremely tall, so rear facing seats in general can be a challenge for us. And we have an infant, so we need it to be fully reclined. I’m leaning towards this one or the Graco turn2me, so I’m curious which one will be the better option for tall parents. Thank you!

      Most of the swiveling seats are really long nose to tail. The shortest one is the Nuna but it also is a tiny seat so a tall child would outgrow it quickly. All the convertible seats are kinda long nose to tail. The only suggestion I would have is a middle install and then when you want to rotate it toward the door scoot the seats up for that one part. You might find that a middle install of a narrow seat like a clek or a (God I hate even suggesting this a Diono) may enable the front passengers to stay as far back from the dashboard as possible. and like if all else fails I do like that Graco seat quite a bit. Also FWIW a lot of parents end up riding in the back with their first born so that might be a solution as well. best of luck tall mama :)

    So, just to clarify, there isn't a way to remove just the car seat to carry since it's attached to the base? Is there an all in one 360 car seat that is detachable? I love the idea of buying one car seat and being done instead of constantly upgrading, as well as being able to rotate the seat bc I am always bonking my nephews head of the car accidentally with regular car seats. Any suggestions for my perfect car seat? Thank you!

      Some of the rotating ones are detachable, for now. The Evenflo 360 is currently under investigation and some are thinking is bc the seat can completely detach from the base, and there is an old standard that says any car seat that can be detached from the base must be able to be used properly without the base, and seats that turn can’t be, that is kind of why maxi cosi added the tether to theirs, to kind of by pass this standard

    Hi, Can you comment on how easy/hard you think it would be for a child to buckle themselves in the booster seat? You mentioned in your baby jogger cityturn that you felt it would be difficult for the child to reach the buckle, so I am wondering how this one compares. I love your videos! Thank you!

    • @destinationbabykids
      @destinationbabykids  Год назад +1

      Hi there! So I think with any car seat that becomes a booster seat typically the body is raised to a point where it can be more difficult for a child to reach that buckle in booster seat mode. I personally favor very low profile booster seats because if you want the child to buckle themselves it positions them lower to the buckle stock to do so. A great low profile booster is the Peg Flex 120 and if you wanted an all in one that is a low profile booster a Diono car seat will accomplish that. (they don't rotate tho)

    So once it locks in place when you turn it around. should you be able to turn it with out pushing that lever at all? Just curious cause mine does 🤷🏽‍♂️

    Our seat itself seems lose when installed. The base is not however. Is this normal? It also comes in clicked almost when you lift up?

      I am so sorry to hear this! For what it is worth I show these comments to customers that ask me if this is a good seat to buy. I hear a fair amount of negatives about it so at least you know you aren't crazy. If you feel the seat is defective you should absolutely contact Maxi Cosi and let them know you're having issues. I am really sorry to hear that you are unhappy tho. Thank you for leaving your experience I promise I read these and I absolutely show them to customers.
