Castor is the empidemy of pragmatism. I dare you to find a single emotion in hsi voice... YET he still manages to be humain fluid and likeable. That's admirable Voice Acting right there.

I imagine that Castor has an improbably huge trophy room containing the stuffed heads of every tyranid subspecies ever encoutnered by the Imperium and all personally slain by Castor. Wouldn't suprise me if he lost his arm to a Hierophant bio-titan, repaid the favor by severing its head and then putting it in his Trophy Room. The manliest motherfucker in the Guard since Creed, Gaunt or Colonel Straken.

You are actually better off leaving Inquisitor Adrastia behind, and just using her Stormtrooper squad instead. Equip them with melta or plasma weapons, and they form an excellent firing line
