I'm a groomer at a small ski resort in Southern Idaho and I would love to give you a ride one morning while I groom! You guys will get free tickets also. We aren't the biggest with around 400 skiable acres with two triple chairs. We definitely aren't the steepest resort around but we sure can get the snow!
400 acres? My home mountain is 167 😅 that's east coast for ya! Hope to make it out there someday, Idaho is beautiful!

East coast: gets hit with 6ft of fresh snow almost every day for over a month straight
Also east coast: 17 in. Base depth
thats what happens when we get a 1foot storm and the next day its 65 degrees. By the time we get the next big storm everything from the first storm already melted lol

theres this tiny 2 person lift in silvretta montafon austria, at the halfway point of the hochjoch descent (12 kilometer long descent) called the Kropfen Bahn, build in 1985, and it takes you through this narrow pineforest (sometimes green sometimes white with snow) and its this perfect isolated quiet moment on a busy action filled mountain. simply lovely. one of the few old school lifts left back on the mountain as well.
That double black used to be called gunbarrel when I was younger haven't been in years
This was my home resort before moving to Colorado and it came out a day after my birthday

Hey man i’m pretty sure you’ve been to hunter mtn new york before but you went and rated it and gave it a pretty fair score i would say, i agree with most everything but i think you should come back and revisit it during a real winter when we get a lot of snow, a long while ago hunter had a half pipe and a few pretty awesome sized jumps and a absolutely massive rail selection, when hunters at its best it’s definitely a very quality east coast ski resort 🤩🤩good food too, lil pricey

went to SS for my HS ski club 1986-90. Started boarding in 88. Ski patrol would say "if we see the bottom of your board, we're pulling your pass"...we'd post up on a stump covered and make it a jump and they'd come along and knock it down. How times have changed

JB you gotta come to Wachusett its the best in Massachusetts and it looks like Ski Sundown just much better. Also, there's a pond under the chairlift so if that doesn't convince you then I don't know what does.
Hey you should check out liberty mountain resort in Pennsylvania sometime it has a 1 decent sized terrain park and 1 mini Terrain park but fun and cool features
