As always great video, I was told in a dream I was gonna change careers into cosmetics, And I think it may be this field you are in, The good thing that here in FL no massive hills but definitely coral rocks. I'm also looking at a Ford F350 4x4.
Good setup. With materials that size I had much much better experience with the Promac disc forestry mulcher. Good side cutters, bottom and top cutters on the disc too. The difference is you do not have to chase the material down. The shroud around the disc holds the stems in place as the disc chips.
Nothing wrong with kubota I used to work at CRS rentals before it went to sunbelt mostly kubotas in the rental fleet when it came to t-skidsteers and excavators
Did your KX080 come with the travel alarm? I somehow cant seem to find where the speaker is on the machine, and the beeping every time I move is pretty loud so I'd like to add a switch to silence it

I have a Kubota KX080-4 also and recently purchased a Forestry Mulcher for the machine. I have been trying to find the polycarbonate? windshields for it. No help from the dealer and no success searching the Internet. Where did you get the windshields from? Could provide the sourcing information? Thanks!
bought one.. then bought the second one... Yeah... pretty much the tool for that style of flat face, until I found Stucchi Hyd. couplers. If you change out from mulcher to bucket a lot.. they are the best I have found. ruclips.net/video/qerM8udJaow/видео.html
Every trakhoe , should come with impact glass , every one I know has broken out some glass and that’s not even with a chipper/ mulcher , just limbs, stumps ect
@@workplaytv Ahhhh, special glass. That explains that. In all your videos I watched I was always thinking a cage would be a plus (yet an annoyance). Now I get it! 👍🏼
It can do an 8” tree but will take a little time if it’s a hardwood. Yeah I think the 100 would be the perfect size for this machine. Little more lightweight and the extra width doesn’t help you if you are in bigger stuff anyway.

Have you tried looking up the XBoom QC mate? Probably the best tool I’ve found for quick couplers.

Is broken glass a common thing running that mulcher beast?
Some dealers won’t even hook up the Mulcher if you don’t have the proper glass

What diameter of trees can you take down and you say fae 100 you would go with and that just because the diameter of trees

I know that you like FAE, but I'm not all that impressed with the substantial mods you had to make. Should have been done right at the factory.
