That was awesome of Ken to let you play with his toy. But the ending of the video was very nice. It was a warm heartfelt ending.... Keep on truck there buddy 👍
I enjoy all ur videos and really hope some day me and the family can come out to the west coast and meet you in person. Glad to know if I have any questions about my truck you always give me an answer. I have over 400k on it now with zero blow by
Dude has an awesome set up there with the property, barn, equipment, etc. And that ford 7.3 is a nice rig! Even Cummins guys can admit the ole 7.3 was a great motor.
Congrats to Ken on the win! & Compliments on the new KX080 too, a very nice machine. Sam I too am a Kubota fan. It is unfortunate that you don't have the best dealer support in your area. I am lucky enough to have a dealer here in my area that has done very well for me. Even delivering parts and attachments after hours and on holidays, and I'm 40 minutes away. They also send me quite a few referrals for work. Great video as always, love watching you guys grind stuff up whenever I'm not out grinding stuff up myself! Keep up the good work! Cheers
Damn I’m so jealous on your guys😳😔☺️ Nice vid as usual and nice to see new toys being used👌💪👍 Just keep the good job up and “we” can be much more people. Sky is the limit as u know as your drone can💪
Best video by far😂😜🤪. That was a fun day and thanks Sam for all that awesome merchandise and best of luck to all you subscribers out there on the 25K give away👍👍👍🇺🇸
Hey buddy I think you were asking me some questions a few months back about the Mulcher head and excavator. I believe you were considering a flail mower as well. I said go with the Mulcher!! Lol. Was that you? You have the exact setup I do! Hahaha awesome choice and property buddy!
Rocking K Videos Awesome!!! Thanks man! Glad to see the machine is working out for ya! You have a beautiful property and some damn fine trucks there! I think you know which one I liked the most! Haha
Nice machine ! I've been thinking about getting a new Kubota'miniexcavator..... I have a 2008 KX161-3 that's got 4000 one owner hours and has been nothing but a really great machine ! ..any suggestions on the 080 ? I'm thinking about upgrading to a new one... also have a 96' JD 490E wide track, another excellent machine ! No issues ever..has 6500 well maintained hours ! I'm just looking for some owner operator like you to let you know what you think about your machine ? Power, weight hydraulic flow ECT.....? I am thinking about outfitting it with a Engcon rotator head
I like watching these types of videos. My favorite is Andrew Canarata on RUclips. I don't know his background but he does everything on a very small budget. Great videos.
See what happens when you show off all your great toys... it makes ppl go out and buy them. I will be doing this the same as Ken when my piggy bank gets enough coins!! Lol!! Congratulations Ken for pushing me to get out there and not just watch but to do and practice what i see and love!!
Hey there Sam awesome videos as usual. I would take a look about rebuilding a hydraulic pump in yours and or seeing about if you could put a larger hydraulic pump in your machine that would fit they're basically the same machine yours in the new one ,but new ones probably got a bigger hydraulic pump in it.
Can you make a video about how you purchase a piece of equipment? Do you get a loan, finance etc. for your purchases to start a business like yours? Or how should I go about starting up a business like this? Please let me know. Great videos !
Seems like it would be faster to just cut the trees down and pile. But I’m a dirt guy and paver so I could be wrong but I do a lot of small clearing also. Awesome videos love your vids
Greg Lewellen .....True, it is faster in some respects. I choose to mulch the trees up to 8-10 inches and the scrub oak, manzanita and the like, cutting a swath through very dense areas. Using a TMK 300 tree sheer in tight areas, a chainsaw and chipper for the rest. This process, is replenishing the the soil and creates a park like finish. Depending on the density and fuel load, kinda determines the process. I’m a hack so it does take a lot longer. Sam and V-belt would be done by now😂. Thanks for checking in👍👍👍🇺🇸
Hello Adam, My neighbor has an 040 and shared with me that the weight for transporting was his primary reason not to go up in size. My equipment stays on my property for the most part and will pay to have it moved if need be. Running a mulcher head is all about horse power, so I went with the 080 for that reason. I’m on my third season and have had no issues. The new 057 is the perfect mid size machine IMHO. Good luck with your purchase👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇸
@@rockingkvideos3160 Thanks for the info. I would love to get the 080 to take on bigger projects but would also have to upgrade my trailer as well. The 040's and 057's seem to be quite the tough little machines though from what I've seen. I agree with you that the 057's seem to be a perfect machine.
Christopher Farmer HA HA Christopher, good eye spy on the M37. Its a work in process project 1952 Korean War survivor. Doing fuel system, cooling system and brakes. Fires right up and runs great.👍👍👍🇺🇸
That’s awesome, you will enjoy this channel. Sam delivers great content and mixes it up a bit, throws in a little humor and reviews products with honestly. Welcome to the Jungle DK
I believe Sam has a tilt set up on his Cimaf head. I did look into it and determined the added weight and additional hydraulic demand and plumbing would only be added if the fixed option didn’t work well, although it would be nice, this 8ton machine is at a good balance with the FAE head at 1200lbs.
I can’t speak for Sam’s -3, but my -4 runs below the 1/2 mark on the bar gauge at full throttle mulching all day. Normal operating temperature should be between 110-140. I did notice the temp rise one day to almost 1/2, but determined that dirt and debris had blocked the hydraulic cooler. I now blow out the radiator, hyd. Cooler and ac fins daily. Thanks for checking in Joe. Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy and safe New Year👍👍👍🇺🇸
Kevin Bachmann cut down the little trees for fire danger. Big trees don’t burn as easy as little trees. And log prices are super low rn for bigger stuff
That was cool. I had no idea that you did this kind of interaction with your subscribers. Great job, love watching
Thanks Ken. 👍🏻. Always nice to see good people.

my dealer sold 80 of kx080-4 wich pretty great deal for $48,200 with mulcher head,thumb,2 buckets
Awesome video for sure!!
Sam I don’t have the cool stuff like Kin does so when you deliver my tool box don’t be disappointed 🤣😂. Congrats Rocken Kin
colin cody, Thank you👍🇺🇸
I run a mulcher on my Kubota and experienced your same systems. I mounted a inline cooler with fan to the hydraulics. Helped a little.
kubota are the best beast
That’s a great idea, the cooler you keep the hydraulic temperature the better the performance and life👍👍👍🇺🇸
@@rockingkvideos3160 the kubota tractors has it even there F series too because it uses hydrulic attachments too wich pretty smart design

Put a pressure gauge on your pump and check that your pressures have not dropped Sam.
Great video Sam. I'm considering a new 057 or 080 for my outfit. Just all around great machines. keep it up!

You should have it hydrological tuned big excavators have separate pumps
They have separate motors I mean
Have you ever used a tilt/rotor system? I have these on all my excavators. Good video.

Man, that 80 sure eats that tree... wow
i was looking you have same problem as us you need extra pump for brush cutter
Little machines suck even with another pump. Not enough hp
I have the baby brother to your KX 080- I have the KX 91. If I win your next giveaway, will you deliver to my place in PA????? LOL
congrats to a local!!!

Hi Sam . When are you and your dad going to use Kobelco Bladerunner excavator on a job ?
Have a job for it hopefully next month🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻
@@VBELTandSON 10 4 . See the kobelco bladerunner excavator and pritech forestry mulcher on a job together .
Can I drive?!?
Why cut down all them small trees when you can cut the bigger trwes and make a couple of buck's
Kevin Bachmann cut down the little trees for fire danger. Big trees don’t burn as easy as little trees. And log prices are super low rn for bigger stuff
Small trees cause the problems, they are ladder fuels. I liken thinning trees to thinning carrots. If you remove small carrots big carrots will grow.
Would be fun to see the new 309 that was designed to run a head on it
That’s next on the list. Well second on the list something else first then the 309 is scheduled🤘🏻
@@VBELTandSON the next gen cats are bad ass. There is alot of out of the box features on them
How do ya feel bout Takeuchi mini excavators?
Robert Phelps I made a video on one. I’d buy a Takeuchi before another kubota

Sam, I think you should up grade.
Are you wearing a Dungey hat?
bobsethbroc yup. There is a 5 on almost everything I own
do you have problem overheating
No
Do you still like the 080 or the tb290 better?
I haven’t used the 290 enough to have an opinion
