Good info on the IFTA stickers Tyson. Not enough people know about that stuff. I try to keep my 550 at 26,000 so I don’t have to deal with it. I combo my 450 for 43,200 pounds and just run it in Pennsylvania to avoid the IFTA. So much paperwork when you were a one-man band. Great video👍🏻

Seeking advice... I'm looking into the Caterpillar Excavator 304 E2 with cab. If you wanted to stick with the 4-ton again and buy a new machine would you go with Caterpillar over the Kubota KX040-5?
I'm looking to run a mulcher head on a 4-ton. Also what NEW mulcher would you buy if you had to run carbide teeth the whole time?
(I'm going to be in a lot of rocky area)... I like the idea of being able to do fine mulching and keeping debris from flying too far away. Thanks

I have run Cat mini’s for 13 years and have had a303 , four 303.5s and currently own a 304E and 304E2. I don’t do forestry work but from an operator standpoint they are the most comfortable and roomiest cab. I would try the Kabota and the cat and pick which one fits you best.
