GCR Autumn Steam Gala 2019 with 926 Repton & T9 30120

With the seasons changing from Summer to Autumn heralds another steam gala at the Great Central Railway. This year saw 2 visiting locos in the form of ex LSWR T9 class 4-4-0 no, 30120 courtessey of the Swanage Railway & National Railway Museum and Southern Schools class no, 926 Repton. Both visitors can be seen busily making their way up and down the lines on passenger services, TPO runs & the express which I was a passenger upon this year. Supporting the headline acts and also featuring on TPO runs were BR Standard 5MT 4-6-0 no, 73156 & ex GWR Modified Hall no, 6990 Witherslack Hall. Also in use was the Jinty tank no, 47406 making it's final gala appearance before the end of it's current ticket, 8F 2-8-0 no, 48305, 9F no, 92214 Leicester City & the class 2MTs no, 46521 & 78018. Once again the busy mainline scene was recreated with passenger trains, TPO runs & goods trains with the vans & mineral trains running between Loughborough Central, Quorn & Woodhouse, Rothley and Leicester North
