- These people faked it and got caught. In 2017, a sign language interpreter was called out after it was revealed she wasn’t qualified for her job. In 2015, a man used a fake Oscar trophy to get free items and gain access into popular Hollywood hotspots. In 2016, what appeared to be a robbery ended up being a proposal that officers and the “robbers” were in on. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.

The 1st one, the crazy fake sign language lady will always be one of my all time favorites. She's crazy on a whole different level, she's committed to the bit but has zero clue on how to sign. Who knows what she'll do tomorrow? Substitute teacher? Attorney? Nurse? She doesn't care about qualifications.

The marriage proposal featured the group Linkin Bridge, they also preformed in America's Got Talent and made it to the finals. Jeremiah Ekoe who was the man with the all black baseball cap was shot and killed earlier this year. He was known to preach against gun violence, sadly that was what took his life. R.I.P. Ekoe.

That was an *awful* idea for a marriage proposal.
This shows how some people can be easily fooled, and the incompetence of some folks in authority can be when hiring anyone with a criminal background to work for them. Just like gun shop owners selling to minors without doing background checks.
