    I have CS510 Plantronics headset. My headset keeps turns off almost every 20 second. while I am talking to customer. Also I was able to answered calls by clicking headset on the office phone.

    Is there such a thing as a "wireless" headset for both computer and phone that is NOT BLUETOOTH?? My company does not allow bluetooth headsets due to security issues.

      Hi Joshua, great question. When you say phone, are you referring to a mobile phone or a desk phone? If a desk phone, can you provide the make/model?

    It wont connect to a mitel phone whre i work, (most do only one doesnt), usin EHS cable, lights r OK? Help

    Great video! My base is blinking red. I power cycled the base and the headset and still no resolution. Any suggestions?

      Hi Cesar, unfortunately when you have the red blinking light even after the power cycle, it tells us the headset system is defective. You’d want to buy a replacement from here.

    Do you know if the cs520 model can work with soft phone system five9?

    So I bought this headset recently just didn't have time to set it up until now. I plugged everything in per the instructions. When I place the headset on the charging dock the battery icon starts flashing green so this tells me the battery is good. When I remove the headset from the charging port the phone icon on the charging port lights up solid green and there is a green light on the headset itself flashing green on and off. I attempted to call my cell from my office phone. I could not hear the phone ring. Upon answering my phone I could not hear myself on my phone either. I checked the settings on the charging port and changed it to A as stated in the video with the volume of 2. That did not work so I changed the setting to D with the volume of 2 and that still did nothing. Any ideas on what could be happening? We use an HD voice polycom desk phone.

      Hi Johnny, make sure you're on setting A, connect to the headset port (not handset port). Turn your headset on, then physically press the headphones button on your Polycom phone and see if it works that way. If you don't have the APP-51 cable you won't be able to press a button on your headset to get dialtone or answer/end calls without physically pressing the headphone button on your Polycom phone.

      @@HeadsetAdvisor Sorry looks like this is not working. I tried the steps you provided and I still get no dial tone. My coworker called me from her extension and is able to hear me but the only thing I hear on my end is static very loud. Nothing else and I can't hear anyone. I checked and yes I have the APP-51 cable and it is connected to the headset port. I tried all the settings starting with A and none work.

    We have a CS520 dual headset that will not play audio after attempting to pair/conference with another base. We've exhausted all these troubleshooting steps including disconnecting battery and it still does not play any audio.
    Connects to the base just fine, call/answer button opens and closes the line but no sound in the headset. Tried to pair with a different, known working base with same results. Any other ideas or is it possible that we fried the speakers trying to press the wrong buttons during the process?

    Guys my headset keeps going out everytime it gets quiet!! I have a plt usb adapter connected to a pc. I need for itnto stay connected how can i do that?? Thanks!!!

    My mic doesn't work like you said in the video (callers can't hear me). That happened right after I accidentally wore the headset more than 1 mile away from the original base. Is that the issue? I did everything you said but it still didn't work.

      Sounds like either the mic adjustment or the compatibility switch a-g need adjustment

    So Mine is flashing for battery, White Light is solid. but when I press the power to turn on the headset it just beeps a few times. Nothing else. Connected to Avaya Phone.

      Can you press and hold the plus button on the headset until a solid green LED illuminates on the headset, release, then press and hold the subscribe button in the back right of the charging base until the white LED flashes then release.
      When the white LED is solid and the green light goes out, try it again. If that doesn’t work, try a full reset of removing the battery, disconnect the AC power and reconnect after 10 seconds.

    I have Plantronics C052. The other party can't hear me but I can hear them. It used to work just fine. I did the full reset and tried the setting it did not work. Any suggestion?

      I have this same issue. I bought this headset used the other day and after realizing that there's a tiny switch on the back of the holder than needs to be switched to the right, I can finally hear callers but they can't hear me. Suggestions?

      @@estherrivera3531 Got it. Go ahead and try disconnecting the cord that goes from the Plantronics base to your Cisco phone. From there power off your Cisco desk phone and wait 10 seconds. Reconnect the power to your phone and plug the Plantronics cord back in. Once it's done rebooting see if that works.

      This headset can’t be used with a Mac unless you get the D315 USB adapter. But there are other headsets that can work with your Mac.
