The ONLY complaint I would have here (and I am really nitpicking) is that these are four of their masterpieces, but herein were truncated in a medley. Each one of those singles deserved the spotlight in their unabridged versions. But when it came to vocal harmony euphoria, Con, Dec and John raised the bar about as high as it could be raised. God bless front man Con Cluskey, whom we lost in April 2022.
All I can say is that as a nurse for 32 years, I have had patients sing this song to me on many occasion. I never was able to keep a serious face on me, so I always giggled and asked around to find the culprit.
Some of the nicest guys I ever met, not only were they professional and great musicians, they were also great friends and would often sit with me when I was in my teens, in between their sets when they visited our club which was very regular.
Great performance of The Bachelors: The founding members of the group were Conleth (Con) Cluskey (born 18 November 1941), Declan (Dec) Cluskey (born 23 December 1942), and John Stokes (Sean James Stokes) (born 13 August 1940). They formed their first band together in 1957
FYI, Con's brother Dec has asserted that Con was born in 1935. Sadly, we lost Con Cluskey suddenly in April 2022. The end of one of the most extraordinary 65 year runs in music history.
I hope there wasn’t a strong wind outside when these lads left the show. With the size of their shirt collars they would have been slapped to death within a few seconds.
I was wondering if there was actual live footage rather than they lip singing to the record. This is definitely a live performance. I wonder what year this was.
People that put thumps down, have no taste in music, bachelor s were very good, not like the rubbish songs out there now.
them, and The Fortunes...
Their harmonies are unmatched to this day!! And just the tone of their voices can melt your heart
Love these guys.I sing Marie to a 95yr.old woman in a nursing home.
The Bachelors were a fantastic group with their own unique sound, a blessing to all who love good music.
Superb. Class.

A gem of some old classics.
As a Marie, I approve this message.
