Recently doing a search on this group, found another song called "Diane", which was my mom's name. That has become an 'instant favorite Bachelors song. Also I was also told that I was named after a song in a commercial when I was born (about 37 yrs ago..LOL) The song's title is "Jenny Rebecca"....Thanks for the memories!

John Stokes split from the band acrimoniously in '84. I wish he could resolve his differences with Con and Dec for a few dates at least, and maybe an album. Peter Phipps - who quit in '93 - is on bass in this clip. Since then, Con and Dec have toured and recorded as a duo.

I was 17 working at Blackpools ABC theatre in 1975 when the Bachelors sang to me. it was wonderful, something I will never forget! :-)
