LYRICS: We’re down in a hole We’re at the liberty of those in control There’s nowhere to run They get rewarded when we face the guns Worth our weight in blood Expected to do what they don’t think we could Stepped on like dirt To fuel the maw of the greed driven worms And satisfaction - it comes at a cost We’re already down so why not take the loss? Blissful ignorance from sins of the flesh Innocent eyes don’t mean innocent lies don’t mean innocent hands Disposable income / Disposable life They flourish in luxury / We’re crippled by strife Lives taken daily in blood cold as ice So they have the means to afford the things that are nice Those who have nothing must pay the price Pigs become richer and we remain flies Chained like a dog Treated like shit Fitted with muzzles Taking kick after kick Kick after kick! It makes me sick! Stronger in mind and hand than the ones we stand below If you thought we were lost before take a look what we’ve turned into Working our lives away allowing our minds to rust Subordinate to bloodthirsty men, so what does that say about us? What does that say about us? Chained like a dog Treated like shit Fitted with muzzles Taking kick after kick Yeah, that’s right, listen to your master/ Sit back and watch as we end in disaster Your hands aren’t tied and yet you obey, the cycle continues day after day! It’s not okay!
This band fills a ten year hole in my heart that I didn't know was there. Big fan of Gallows, Every Time I Die, Cancer Bats and the like. Capra, you are easily in their league already. I'm so impressed. Your music is an immersive experience. Please make 100 more songs.
The differences among the sections are like Rush arrangements. The lyrics are stories like Rush, with content and rage like Body Count. They’re dirty, honest, scrappers...with an artsy muse to keep some of that savage breast controllable. I can only imagine how exhausted / catharted everyone at a show would be.
I usually dont care for these kind of hardcore vocals but something about them and the whole sound kept my interest. It had enough metal influence that I didnt get bored and while those vocals are usually just kind of grating and annoying you can actually feel the emotion in them, it feels genuine instead of just forced/by the numbers like they usually do with this style.
Exactly this. I feel the same way. This has just enough metal in it for me and I actually dig her vocals. Normally not into hardcore, more straight metal and other sub genres of metal but this has great riffs
Really? Because to me it sounds incredibly thin with no depth. It honestly sounds like a 16 year old girl trying to yell aggressively at the top of her lungs in her bedroom.
@@protolexis I mean this is the Internet, so I’m free to express how annoying your negativity is as well. And why waste your energy being negative when you could just go listen to music you like. Simple.
What a refreshing splashback sound with fresh aggression. I read the detailed description & followrd the lyrics. It shouldn't have been held down in limbo but, now that it's out here, there's no turning away ftom this band now. I can't wait to hear and see more from these guys - Awesome!
Knew this video was gonna be “Fight Club” style, so when y’all dropped which song it was for I was just, “Fuck YESSSSS!”. This tune is absolute devastation, and the vid is fucking awesome-well done, y’all. Can’t wait for it to be safe enough for y’all to get up to Oregon and shred my face off. Congrats!!
Awww, come on now. This is some new level music. Forget comparisons. It just makes me want to mosh my fat old a$$ off. Every song so far...remember when Guns N Roses hit the scene and everyone was like “whuuuuuuuuuuuts haaaaaaappppppppennnnnniiiiinnnng?” Seems very familiar here.
Everyone here avoiding to discuss, mention, pretending like they didn't get the real message in the lyrics or straight up coming up with some unrelated bullshit interpretation is what she's talking about on that verse "our hands aren't tied and yet we obey, so what does it say about us?" Stop being cowards and confront the struggle

@@alyssalorina9830 Thanks! Least that's what I got from the video and reading the lyrics.

No. It's clearly about the wealthy subjugating the working class and the poor.

Hell Yeah 🤘 My favorite new band....I love cranking CAPRA in the kitchen at work 😂
Song and video sold me on whatever the hell album this is on. I'm getting it.

3:17 You can hear the pain. That's what makes a song art. This album is fast becoming a staple!
Absolutely. Crow Lotus absolutely conveys pure, real emotion and power, right?

Kenny Omega on drums and the sound of ETID at their angriest. This rocks.
Man I commented on the Locust Preacher that Kenny Omega was on drums haha
The drum collector
Appreciate the reference, but Jeremy Randazzo’s the name that should be on your lips.
Fantastic video to go with a killer jam! Love me some Capra!!!!
Always some crazy shit coming out of Louisiana. Hails from a former, 30+ year resident of the boot.
