Great demo of this man, thanks for demoing this with good power chords, and not just blazing lead sounds, which I love, but not when I’m wanting to really hear what an amp sounds like
Thanks for posting. Great review of this amp. I recently acquired it and am slooooowly finding my way around its settings and tones. So far, it is awesome, but your video will be handy. I also have a Marshall 1974CX and the Sheriff is almost identical in terms of tone, but more versatile and has higher powered O/P. Greetings from Down Under.
it's a great demo and agree 100% about the Two Note, it's REALLY special but i've owned one and just cannot get on with the output to a cab. I'm fairly sure it's the class D thing v's everything i'm used to but how do you find it in a band situation? When you "hit it with dynamics on channel2" do you find it doesn't behave like a real amp? It's such a shame because the 9v, Two Note, Di features are insanely good.
@@tszegvary They are definitely available. Unfortunately, they are not at any dealers in my area so I would have to spend custom charges. I do worry about the V4 pedal tubes though. Those are odd.
how does it sound with the protein? right now i play the protein with a hiwatt 50 and its magic. but i would like to downsize in weight. i was not shure if the duchess is to american-clean.
When you use headphones or go DI out, does the V4 still need to see a load (cab)? I have a Sheriff 22 but it actually be worth replacing that with a the V4 version!

We're about ready for another 'News and Coffee' session I reckon.
Sounds like it doesn't have a lot of clean headroom., does it? It's probably not built for that though I imagine. Thanks for the great demo!
Great Stuff
These look and sound cool, but where would you find replacement tubes? They are unique. Even the Copper head has that odd EF184 tube.
EF184 are easy to get….for some reason there are huge supplies stored.

Great video thanx! Very interested in this amp. Question… can you push a cab and go DI out to a p.a. Simultaneously?
yes!
Nice Video! :)
Can the Vintage channel do a clean tone with humbuckers? Maybe something for the next vid
Yes it definitely can!

No load needed
It has a power amp mute feature
