Sad and the 20 yrs old that died had nothing to do with it he was just a bystander hit by a stray bullet and the 14 yrs old that died his father said that was the second child he lost to gun violence and last I checked in Fla 14 yrs old can’t legally possess a gun also illegal to go into bars with a gun and also illegal to drink alcohol while in possession of a gun
If he was in ybor City , he made a wrong decision. (Tampon our locals call it) . Not Tampa
All of these kids should have been home period none old enuff to party own guns drink smoke etc y any of them in the streets even the 20 yr old shouldn't be there

I also want to say I’ve seen that judge at my court hearing. N let me tell you it was my first charged n she ain’t ror me. And anyone who violated bond she immediately locked them up with no bond. System messed up just inside n out the jails. F that mf

Who in their right mind would ever go to Ybor City. Florida is a permitless carry state and the general population is generally armed. Every 3rd person wandering around Ybor is carrying and is more than willing to use their firearm for whatever reason. Busy populated venues in Flrida are not safe.
Permitless carry (which I don't like either) doesn't apply to 14 year olds or felons. Law abiding citizens aren't the problem.
