On this flight, I will be flying with Emirates onboard the Boeing 777 from Johannesburg, South on a 8 hour hour flight to Dubai, UAE.Arrived Johannesburg on a domestic flight with flySAFAIR from Durban, South Africa. Need to retrieved my check in luggage upon arrival in OR Tambo International Airport and proceed to bag drop off and re checked in on the Emirates check in counters.
I only got three hours layover in the airport to catch up on my next flight. Fortunately, there was no long lines on the check in counter and cleared immigration on time.

We're flying Jnb to Dxb.. In August this year.. And our flight has the same menu 😂😂😂😂 at least it looks great. It's just a shame that such a long flight doesn't provide basic amenity kit. 😢

Yes, totally agree. I was also expecting basic amenity kit on economy class passengers.

@@JGTravels their website says medium to long haul flights, economy is provided with amenity kits. 8 hours is long haul. Very disappointing. But other than that, their service is great. My daughter left her phone in the pocket of the seat and they emailed me with instructions on how to collect it. Very helpful

Did they allow you go over 2kg extra? How heavy was your checked bag. I am sure there were lots of bags at the baggage claim from this flight since it was a 777
