And in some cases, what the child felt isn’t even true. Someone might say their dad wasn’t around, or was a bad dad for not going to their baseball games growing up, when in actuality, daddy had to be in the road half the year because he was a truck driver in order to keep the lights on and out food in kids’ stomach or to pay child support to avoid getting thrown in jail. Or maybe the dad had to be out on business half the year because he is a consultant, but that’s how he fed his kids. I’m sure Drake ain’t always around either with his career. If his kid calls him a deadbeat in the future for not being around enough, that doesn’t mean it’s necessarily true.
