Some guy on Reddit made up new cards for the venom cards that made it easier to summon Vennomnaga and effects the activate kinda like Tearlaments when the venom monsters/retrains are sent there they were good ideas honestly. I always loved this archetype.
@@Protocurity I usually play it in my reptile salad (Reptilianne, Ogdoadic, Alien) and although I don't pull it out right away in the game cause I like to actually play, it has given me a lot of undeserved wins.
So it’s more Ogdoaic Venominaga. Who needs Venominaga’s alternate win condition when she can just be a big beater anyway. It’s not much, but the Ogdoaic cards BARELY makes this deck at least decent. Could you do a World Chalice Deck next, possibly with a supplemental engine alongside it like Yubel or whatever you can come up with? Good video!

Vennominaga's counter win condition is very powerful against certain cards that cannot be destroyed by battle. Even then, her ability to almost practically counter anything by sheer immunity and damage scaling truly does make her one of the gods of the Yugioh universe, alongside the Three God cards, the Phantom Gods cardset and others. I truly do hope that her archtype receives support, Reptillianne is especially fun to play. A big help would be a card that could provide a field effect that negated non-reptiles, perhaps on the condition she is on the field. Venom Counters playing a part of this would also allow synergy of the Venom cards, and perhaps allowing them to inflict percing damage to let her utilize her counter-ability more effectively. Another would be searchers for any kind of traps, as to summon her very quickly. I will list off sone combinations for deck support: - Divine Serpent Geh. This card does wonders for her on the basis of the effects it brings as major support. First off, there are plenty of circumstances where it can be easily summoned as per a quick-save-effect of one of your other monsters, especially Venom, due to the fact she can only be outbeaten in damage. This card inflicts negations and halves damage of enemy monsters, your only concern being it needs a monster on the field with true highest damage to set a bar of averages so it doesnt destroy itself by attacking anything that has modified damage. You want this card to support as you'll often find many cards have effects that counter battle damage and destruction, which permanent negation help. It can't be targetted for effects either, giving it protection from many considerable things. You can use Skill Drain alongside Naga and other things to mass negate, but there are drawbacks on being Trap and Spell reliant alone. Youll also be cutting out much of your monsters in your own deck which truthfully isnt a fantastic option. But its up to you to decide on that. - Reptillianne Coatl. This card can support the other two as it cannot be destroyed by battle or card effects, it can inflict atk dmg debuffs per CL activation by Quick Effect and it provides a stable highest natural damage range for Geh when enemy monsters are destroyed that naturally have more dmg. It is a very strong card and anchors Geh decently. - Mask of Retribution. Despite Vennominaga being immune to 95% of all effects in the game, this is the one effect outside higher damage that can affect her - Tributing. It prevents any tributing being applicable, so use it wisely as it will prevent your ability to as well. But by the time you use it, you won't need to anymore. Any cards that require being tributed to activate? Useless. Nibiru? Useless. The Monarchs Storm Forth? Useless. Super Polymerization? Useless. This card despite how simple it is, is highly effective. You want to use this card no matter what, as there is little chance you can find recourse if she is tributed. You can still win a duel by other means, but by then, your enemy will have the advantage on their side for having many diffefent monsters, etc. And that is my feedback on Vennominaga! She is truly a gem that deserves more support, as the shenanigans she can pull off are astounding, and satisfying! Enjoy.
Geh is a ok tech card but he’s a brick more often than not and playing mask is a horrible idea for any reptile deck due to the need of Ogdoadic engine especially since her effect relies on graveyard to gain attack there are to many ways to remove monsters from grave to risk it once she’s off the field your cooked lol although this is the meta to try her since kaijus are on the back burner and I think you meant reptiliane melusine, not trynna be a butt, I play reptiles as my main deck since day one so I’ve tried all sorts of combos and tech

Geh is a brick if he's improperly used, and even then you use bricks to build foundations. Without Geh, Vennominaga can't handle cards that can't be destroyed by battle or let damage bypass them. Geh debuffs their damage and permanent negates, allowing her Hyper Counter passive-effect to activate whenever she destroys them, if the cards are high enough to not let her chip away at the HP for an OTK. Further more, there are very few cards which can impact both countereffects on enemies at the same time ,Ogodaic requires you to run nothing but their archetype, which you then stuff Venomminon and Minaga inside. I looked at their cards, there is incredibly little synergy other than summon dumping, which Snake Rain can let you do easily to boost her damage, all you need to do is run Triple Talent Tactic cards to easily get it if you don't find it instantly. You can argue that Mask of Retribution is bad, but try saying that after you watch Kaiju's pop the card which you painstakingly brought to the table on the standby of your enemy's turn with no reprieve. You always set Mask of Retribution on the end of that turn which you summoned her to activate it as soon as the enemy's turn is ext, you may be forced to make a choice if you can't get Geh and the other card on the field I listed above ASAP, if not before you bring her out. People who know the game and have the ability to do so, will try to force tribute her. That is her Achilles heel. Never discount Mask of Retribution, it's a bad idea.
The only card I know we're getting soon is: 'I.A.S. -Invaisive Alien Species-', which has nothing to do with the archetype, but it's a level 4 Light Reptile monster that thrives if your opponent uses Field Spell cards.

Definitely. I run Ogdoadics with a small Evolzar engine, and I can set up Larz + Zer'oll lock just by normal summoning Evolsaur Lios.
