Ironically, I just finished purchasing all of the 300 series, I'm probably not gonna get around to it til the 1st, but it is on my upcoming list. I'm working on getting every ship series in the game with multiple variants, and I'm pretty close to filling out my ship list. (it's A LOT of ships!) Thanks again for the comments!
I have thought about the ways that the Cutlass line could be expanded. I just don't know that it has the fuel cap to really be an explorer for its size. I love the idea. I'm just not sure that it would fit within the "realism" aspect that CIG is striving for with ship design/function.
True, tho I don't see that happening in the near future. One of the best things about the Cutlass is the versatility that the base design has. It could easily be retrofitted (from a design perspective) to quite a few different things. The mid-range exploration bracket is already pretty full tho, with the Freelancer DUR, 315p, Terrapin, even the Aquila could fall in that range. Honestly, I'm more interested in getting some variety in the industrial ships. I could see the stub wings on the Cutlass being retrofitted with salvage heads, or even a cheap mining variant. Pure fantasy, but I could definitely see it.
Great video along with your pure cutlass black video! You convinced me next payday I’m pledging for the cutty black
It's the most versatile ship in the game under $200!
Great videos as usual! Any chance of a comparison of the 300i series and its alternative options.
