Dan, Daniel my brother.... You are amazing. You took a car that was destined to be scrapped, an engine that sat outside for years, and various parts.. and created a decent Camaro! You did this in a week! You are no hack. You're amazing! Stop putting yourself down. This car alone proves that you're heads above anyone else with a RUclips channel. Great job!! Great job! Signed - Your friend, the Cancer guy. 😊
Thanks buddy!
Agreed!
yeah! DD`s saving the wrencher`s community one vidja at the time. And inspire a lot of people too. Proof right here :)
Yes yes yes
My buddy calls you hack it up garage . He said he would be scared to death ? So I figured I'd watch your video to see if he was telling the truth about the way you hack up cars ! Should I watch this video I see what you do .
The more I look at this Camaro the more I like it.I think whoever buys it will have a hell of a good starting point.
It’s better than the other one ❤❤❤
The highlight of these builds is that people can finally spell Camaro correctly. 😂
@@327JohnnySS funny 😄
Amazing how fast you made a car out that pile of parts. Great save. Good to see another one back to life!
Yeah it came together pretty quick
I had a B&M rachet in my old Camaro back in the 90s. It was akways 2 pulls to get out of park and into reverse. Then when you were at the bottom it was 2 forward to start going back up. That's the way they were. That car was awesome back in the day. 400 plus horse. 4.11 rear. It would bust the tires loose every shift. In passing gear passing people at 65 and it shifts and scratches the tires beside people as you go by. Their faces were priceless. Lmoa
I have a B&M ratchet shifter in my Nova yep that is how it works
Had one in a Super Bee. Not great, not terrible.....
@@robertspence831 Had 1 in my Monza Spyder, Agreed not great & not terrible.
Have no doubt in Dan's work 😊
Aint got no gas in it!
The Camaro is becoming a driver quite nicely and guess what, no fires!! Keep up the good work. Cheers!! 😎
Oh sweetie! He had me at ‘kay so….a millisecond before you said, “queso?”!🤣
my wife asked me did dd speed shop put out a new video i said why you know nothing about cars she said i watch for Daniele i love her she is funny
Hi Mrs. Wilson! 👋🏽 ❤
Love the '68. Thanks, Dan!
B&M Quick Click was announced officially by B&M April 1975
Another car ready to be alive back on the road, awesome job Dan and Danny you are definitely getting better, remember just picture that you are dancing with Dan when you film, slid your feet and keep your elbows tucked to your side.
Billy at SRC garage just burnt his arm and part of his face drilling on a pickup tube on an empty gas tank. Still had fumes in it and the electric cordless drill sparked. Be very careful around gas. Fumes are worse the the liquid.
800.00 for that b&m shifter today
Crazy. They have made the same shifter for decades. No new tech in them. They were affordable. This is getting stupid
The look on Daniels face was perfect when you were putting the bottle ofgas in the trunk!😅
Good thing you have such a good camera person, we would hate to miss all those action shots as the Camaro springs to life.
Happy 4th from TREETOP GARAGE..great progress... hopefully by now it's already sold
The big man saves another kool car destined to be someone's toy. We know its going to be 3 steps ahead of any Kijiji or Marketplace junker sold by someone for way to much!! Well done again buddy your giving inspiration to a ton of people with every vid.
I think we are seeing a new way of marketing these vehicles in that people are getting these cars and getting them to a point where the purchaser is getting a lot more than just a basket case of parts. This is not the only channel that does this. Of course, the seller can ask more for the vehicle and what they make basically covers their expenses (parts and labor) plus they make some on the sale as well. But the buyer gets something that they can work with in a complete package.
Awesome job. Running and driving. Even sweeter. Keep up the great work.
Doesn't even look like the same car, damn good job man 👏
Dan! That b&m shifter is kinda worth it's weight in gold!!!! You should be keeping that one!!
❤ love your videos, awesome content😊
Very Nice Ride Dan, that guy is getting a GREAT project car! I'm jealous!
The cars that are cobbled together with spare parts either are a nightmare because everything is a problem cause its all junk or it turns into a car that runs an drives better than it should and amazes you with its brilliance
I couldn't agree more
I hope you make good money on this one . I see trash in the us for 20 k . Good luck Dan and Dannie
Great job saving that Camaro from the scrap yard for sure. If I was younger I would love to have continued the project. You two provide some great entertainment too😂.
You put a smile on my face every episode
Forgetting to put the "gas tank" back in is something I would have done... Haha!!
Just love how calm you where with that big fuel ⛽ leak especially with the open headers. Great nerves Dan 👏
leave dani alone she is a sweet woman with a great smile ang a great laugh dan is a lucky guy
Brought back to life. The grave yard was waiting. Great job Dan. Another great save👍💯👊
Looks good. It will be a really good start for someone. Most of the hard stuff is done. A little work and she's a driver.
If it was made out of glass , it would be a molatoff cocktail. But being It's.
A pulling jug it's a fuel tank.
Gesundheit Dani 🤧 I sneeze a lot too. When you made the boxer comment at the end I for real lol’d a lil too loud and everyone was staring at me. For what you started with the Camaro has really come together I’d Roadkill it. Also wanted to say Y’all have been doing a great with daily uploads, I certainly enjoy them. 😊
Send It . Congratulations .
Good afternoon from Cape Cod ⚓ it certainly helps to put the fuel container in the trunk 😂 with gasoline it actually seems to run good, who would have guessed 😉 great video guys ✌️🇺🇲🇨🇦
Thanks, Dan. This is going to be a mint Camaro 👍
Great JOB on this car. You made short work of that and she looks ready for someone else to take it the rest of the way. Its a super nice car for sure, and I gotta be honest, I didnt think it would turn out this nice when you first started working on it. Like you said, glass and wheels, then grill, motor and trans bring it to the next level. Well done Dan.
Nice work!!
"I heard queso"...God, I just love Dani!!!!! Ok, and Dan too...
I think your putting a car together that someone can take and make it what ever they want.
Nice job.
This one is nothing compared to the last one
I've seen You Tackle Some Nasty rides into Ones I'd be Happy to Drive Around In
thx folks
Great job Dan
Dan, I laugh with you cause of all the boo-boos that we make while trying to get our projects fully running !! As they say, been there and done that-Lol. Keep up the great work that you and Dani do from your friend in deep South Texas/Rio Grande Valley, Mission, Tx...
Dan: So that's - just fine. A nice looking car. I hope it moves itself too 🇨🇦. Happy 4th of July to all our American friends
Dude!!! Great video!!! ✌️
All older American transmissions have twice the throw between park and reverse.
Nice job Dan !
My boyfriend builds cargo trailers for a living and he said grinding and welding on the eyelet part,to repair your leafspring should not be a problem, cuz most of the temper is gone from that area, when it is formed. If that makes sense,I hope I wrote it right.
The problem is it's rusted.
It's alive! Maybe a little timing? Great job you two!
I would pay a million dollars to have Harrison Ford show up at DdSpeed shop and ask "What the hell did you do to my 55'"!!!!
Great video, the buyer should be pretty happy. Patiently waiting got you to drag home Dani’s birthday present she bought for you, 57’ . Can’t help but love the Tri 5’s. You have two waiting for a spot in the garage 😄
Great show keep up the great work and safe my friends God bless all rolling work of art bye Dan Van go
Daniele you may get a roll chair when this fine 68Camaro is sold
Will make a great project car for someone 😮
hey mate great work getting it to a great starting point for someone who wont dive as far as you, plus clean out your shop before you fund that land
Man that sounds good .. I wish you were my neighbours 😁😎😎🍻👍👍
Man that car is going to make someone nice hotrod great job Dan and Dani
I used to have a B&M rachet shifter similar to that one in my 57 Chevy in the early 80s.
Come on down to Big Dan's slightly used car!!! Lol you been cranking them out. Hats off to you two for the grind and you're entertaining on top of it. 🥇
The one car I’ve always wanted but come to terms with I’ll never have , maybe I can eventually get my dads 72 going
9:35 Just like Buddy Reppertons Camaro in the movie Christine when the car was smashed into the gas station.
Alright, alright, alright !!! Dani saved the day and the Camaro is on her way !!! It won`t be long now !!! Great progress Dan !!! Rave - On Danni and Dan !!!
O that feeling. It's Alive, It's Alive.
I had one of those B&M Quick Click shifters in my Monza Spyder, worked very well, this was in the early 80's.
I bought it used for $50.00 at the time, it was a good deal.
❤ Johnny Cash and his hotrod Lincoln sure would be proud. 🤪
That was fun 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻😎
Good times 🎉 I like the idea of making it run🎉 if you show up to buy a vehicle and it runs it makes it worth twice as much
Dan on fire; "THE HAIR! MY HAIR!"
This car is better than the other one Dan it’s a keeper I think ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
well theres no doubt your paitence is awesom ,,, geez lucky little camaro there
GOOD JOB DDSS
Nice to see you save her
Getting to the finish line
Good one
Memory says that double ratchet is intentional, its to stop you from accidentally shifting into park
Thanks for sharing this video with us . I think it's got fuel !!!!!!!
Dan, please send me a roll of that Canadian fuel resistant tape please!!
GOOD JOB U2!....
Happy 4th of July guys!
It’s just another day in Canada!
@@br549200 shoot sad to say but same here anymore lol
@@dogpatchfab you ain’t kidding, may get even worse
GM trans have twice the space between park/reverse than the other gears. Every ratchet shifter requires 2 pulls for that reason
1 cylinder has removed itself from the conversation.
It's mint
@@DDSpeedShop Premium
@@marcmo7138 Top Notch.
It needs to be driven. Probably stuck rings from sitting. Yet who ever is the new owner will put a bad azz power plant into this build.
I love that "Camerra" you did a great job in a short time! Mortske should buy it and finish it! 😁👍
He’d just lower it.
@@jimburgess9205 😅
@@kimberlywilliams9757 Mortske never really finishes anything, maybe Puddins Fab Shop ? By the way YUM.
The double click to get to Park is because GM transmissions have extra space between Park and Reverse, but Ford and Mopar transmissions don't. This way, they can sell one shifter for all three applications.
Just throw the tools on the ground DAN!!!
🤣
Yes Sir!!!
Wow nice
good video
Happy 4 th or July Danni & Dan .from Mt Morris Michigan Gordon
Dani only the talent get's a chair.😊
God bless you, Dani
A runner. Superb.
Heck yeah !!!!
A hose clamp around the trasmission mount thats a first for me
She sounds like a runner!
By next summer, Dani is going to be welding and grinding !
I could use the break
I'm here & sharing this vid. so hopefully you can get another freggin house.
GET DAMI HER OWN ROLLY CHAIR!😊
Next?! Can't what to see what's the next resurrection.
Cmon Dan, put the drums from Dani’s nova on it. It’d take you 2 hours and you’ll have real brakes
Naw
